the Problem with Voldo

Err....Voldo's step is pretty good, I think. He's not particularly fast, but what makes him annoying to fight is his range, safety + pushout, and the fact that almost all of his moves evade something. He's just too solid all around.

But 236A+B GB is like -3 or something on block I believe, so don't be afraid to attack after blocking it.

raph has crummy tracking (even worse than voldo) and is pretty much worse than voldo in all categories except range.

Khaki's suck... at least cover up the crotch area, seriously... a customized Voldo (with either an Usurper's Suit or Chain Mail) is like telling everyone (to those of you who play offline + online): I am straight and don't feel like seeing a 50 year-old man's crotch everytime I play this game... at least, not when I'm not high XD. So, I don't know about you, Psylocide, but if you like your characters to be naked, so be it... I'm not here to stop you, just don't be telling others what you should expect THEM to do.

Spartan you can crouch grab voldo a lot if you catch his lows his 1A from front and back can be crouch grabbed and so can his 236B on block. Just learn to keep him out of range with your ranged attacks and just learn what moves work on him so find some good voldo's and play them more. I'd say Astaroth has a decent match up against voldo. The last good voldo I played was Ekindu online before I went to a offline tourney and he got more wins on me but we went back and forth and I did not get CF once so I think I did pretty good. I'm actually having more problems with Amy nowadays than Voldo oh and get use to GI 3BB.

I'm just chiming in to show my approval that I'm well represented in this thread. The tags at least.

Voldo is like #3. Ivy and Sophie are better. The trick to Voldo is the same as any character. Know what he is going for and Shut him down.

and if anyone wants to play the TRUE Voldo Master who knows how to make use of more than FIVE MOVES play ME!!
