Very rough outline of this design: buggy and imprecise sticker placement tools in SCVI editor really showing on this one, but other than that, I think it's actually fairly faithful and will looks pretty clean with some polishing. The idea was to make variants for all the SCII Assassin XPs, but we'll see: not a whole lot of motivation remaining here, and this wouldn't be the first (actually, probably more like the twentieth) time that I intended to make a series of designs along a theme for SCVI CaS, and only ever ended up making one or two or three.

Three variations on a rabbit-themed Yoshimitsu: the first is a bit of a goof design that occurred to me as a pairing for the rabbit mask as I worked on different approaches on the head. The second is a more ninja-esque take on the idea that gets a little more period-appropriate for Yoshi, but it is really the third )a psuedo reference piece/cosplay outfit) that feels most thematically appropriate for Yoshi, as a kind of noble not-quite samurai.

Recently played some of the more vintage SoulCalibur games couch tournament style with some old friends recently. It kind of inspired me to re-explore the older versions of the editor, and frankly, I was kind of surprised to start forming the conclusion that not only is the SCV editor arguably a better editor (even being a full graphical generation behind) than is SCVI's editor, but SCIII's is also surprisingly deep and has some features/tweaks that make it superior to SCVI's all these years later. SCIV's editor, while a worthwhile addition, can probably be comfortably called the least exciting iteration, although it did make important and fundamental improvements to features that stuck thereafter, like being able to create custom versions of regular cast members: statistically the most common kind of CaS these days, I am pretty sure.

Anyway, I created quite a large number of designs while dicking around, and there are so many assets I still want to experiment with in the older games, so expect a mix from all the editors (Lost Swords and Broken Destiny excluded) whenever I do find time to post, for a while.

I finally managed to find a way to make a non-gimpified version of Voldo without completely covering up his head or heavily modifying it with ExEq! The final product kind of gives me a Cyrano De Bergerac vibe--don't ask me why: it's not any one thing. With maybe a touch of a knight of Guardia from Chrono Trigger. A peculiar combination, I'll grant you!
