Things to Fix for the Next Update

No to everything you said for X. Do you REALLY need X to be any better?

The only thing you said for Zas that I agree with is fixing the tracking on 4A. It doesn't need to hit mid. KK is already safe on hit. If you mean more advantage on hit, sure.

I would like Mina to get a JF. ANY JF. Just so I can use it in a match and see a flash of white light.

No to things that Zasalamel already had in the last Soul Calibur that they took away? No to things that would make Zasalamel better than his already arguably lowest tier spot? KK is also unsafe on hit, you can check that via the Zasalamel forum.

Who opposes making the most lacking default character in the game any better?
 
@Artilust: X is top or near top tier in this game. She's fine where she is. Mina, Talim and Zas are the ones who need to be boosted, since they're the worst characters in the game (I'm not even discussing Yoda).

Edit: Instead of Just frames, how about Mina's 2A becomes the same as her FC 2A. Or just something safe to use at close range.

Double edit: Forgot to put tier in the first sentence. Lol, that kinda changes the meaning of it.

She's also a character who needed to be made "worse" (read: nerfed) in each of those games. Your point is irrelevant.

Mina, Zas, and Talim are the characters in most obvious need of a buff. Perhaps making Mina's moves not as good at close range instead of completely worthless at close range would be a huge help. Or fixing her aGIs. Or her 2A. Or make a few of her mid range moves a little safer. Or give her back a few cancels, like 6A+B.
 
buffs as in make stronger or weaker. i personally think maxi is just fine. wouldnt mind a little stringer of course but i say "leave him alone please!!"

Buffs=Stonger, nerfs=Weaker. Maxi needs some safety on more of his PSL shit, IMHO.


Maxi and Yun-Seong need buffs a hell of a lot more than Mina. :-/

Lolwut? Have you really played Mina in this game? Better yet, have you played her against a decent Sophie or Cassy?

Are you drunk? You think X got progressively worse from SC2 to SC3? Crazy talk. Your credibility was already completely destroyed last page when you suggested they bring back 66A+B~G, the single biggest factor in killing the SC3 community.

Fix Cassandra's 1K whiffing on Lizardman as well as Cervantes (misses Cervy when's shes right up next to him and he's facing her).
 
i havent read this entire thing but take making algols 2A+B stun on grounded.. thats just stupid in my oppinion, the only change that he needs is to stop his bubbles from blocking the camera, make them semi see through or something thats it.

only thing that i see that needs to be changed dramastically is fixing moves that whiff on some characters but dont on others, especially when they can just stand there and you can pull that move all day and it will never hit, not being able to duck/ground throw yoda (i get the standing throw cause well he's just tiny, but not stuff like sieg/nighmares down throws or rock/astas grounded throws), oh and stop apprentice force throw cancel, cause thats really lame.
 
Make Yoshi's 66B a guaranteed follow up after a:B+K again, not that he needs it for the good players will still throw mix-ups for more damage until they feel the need to fall back on something guaranteed. Also, DON'T TAKE AWAY HIS 44bB INFINITE. It's pretty damn difficult to get more than two in one normal combo unless you use his Blazing Kick tekken move. If someone does more than two then kick them from the tourney. But other than that I don't see it as that big of a deal. Everyone is fine just the way they are. If any changes are made to any of the characters, they should be buffs for the lowest of the low tiers. As well as moves that shouldn't whiff. That's all.

I agree with and endorse this post.

In addition, fix the effed up tracking on Kilik's 4A. It was awesome in SC3 but is practically useless in this game thanks to LOLHavok shenanigans.

Oh, and leave Asura exactly as it is. :P
 
Err... What's Havok got to do with this?

It's why some moves randomly whiff or go through people, some moves take you in weird directions when they were supposed to track, and other "fun" little glitches.

Developers hate Havok for the most part, but because it's easily accessible and saves them time on making their own physics engine they use it.
