There are loads of tunes from video games that I like. However, there are only so many soundtracks where I can enjoy most of the whole thing. These are my all-time favourites:

Street Fighter II: The World Warrior

This makes me miss all the vgm I use to have to many sountracks to choose from so I'll just name off ones I really like cant narrow it down to favorites.

Pretty generic list there although I'm not gonna lie I use to have a lot of Rockman OST's and Akumjo Dracula OST's. Nocturne in the Moonlight is definitely the best one of Dracula X as you mentioned. Never had any SF albums meh never cared for the game or music.
 
The Croc 2 OST is probably my favorite. The second world themes in particular give the game extra emotion despite having a basic storyline. Street Fighter 3 (all versions), Medievil, Final Fantasy 3, Tekken 2 and Pokemon G/S/C are also some of my favorites.

You're silly no where did I say generic is bad I was making a general statement nothing else. I sometimes prefer generic food for example sometimes generic food is better in price and sometimes in taste even. I prefer a generic list of achievements cause I'm an achievement whore. When playing a game with a generic list of achievements the achievement whoring feels natural rather than a pain. You acquire achievements through natural progression rather than going out of your way for them.

Mufugger I own the FFVII OST as well other OST's. I ripped that soundtrack to my xbox I bought that shit so long ago off an anime/game music site. FF is such a good series how can you not mention it. I'm just one of those people that prefer VIII in every way rather than VII. Let me be clear your list as a whole is generic.

Forgot how good Kazuya's music was and didnt know how good croc music was I've never played croc so whenever I've seen it in the past I was oh hey croc and move on.

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
Devil May Cry 3
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
 
Hmmm Gran Turismo 3 has cool music.
Gran Turismo 4 may not be as pumped as GT3 for I'm a Daiki Kasho fan, but it was good.
Soul Blade makes me "nostalgia" a bit.
Soul Calibur 3 was awesome.
Pokemon HG/SS, DPt, black and white have pleasant tunes...
All of Tekken music is decent to me.
MGS saga so far is nice.

There's a ridiculous amount of video game music that I like, but these are the only games I can think of where I enjoy pretty much every song in them.
 
I don't understand the love for FF7's soundtrack. FF6's soundtrack was so good, I never really considered any game since to have a soundtrack that came anywhere near it.

I'd appreciate the soundtrack of Catherine a lot more if the music was original, but if you're going to copy someone why not the best.

FF7 was better in terms of the quantity of tracks that I liked. The kinds I can listen to anytime and still have fun. Here, I did a side-by-side comparison.
