Thank you
From what I've seen, her orb return BE's simply make the return animation instantaneous and less obvious and expected than her regular orb return. Great for combo fodder though.Brave edges. Alot of her brave edges feel similar, all of which involving the orbs return. Since the low call back isn't really a low, it sort of limits the utilization of these moves. However, I believe it's 44A BE is quite nice.
B+K for regular call backs. But A+B has a few send moves and the downward guard crush with the orb is A+B.From what I've seen, her orb return BE's simply make the return animation instantaneous and less obvious and expected than her regular orb return. Great for combo fodder though.
Also, what inputs are used to send/call the orb? Is it still B+K?
So teabag slam is A+B...B+K for regular call backs. But A+B has a few send moves and the downward guard crush with the orb is A+B.
Yeah for sure 6A+B. Don't ever regularly set it. Waste of frames.I'm glad some discussion is getting started =)
What do you guys find to be her safest methods of sending the orb out? 6A+B? I haven't played anyone offline yet, so I guess I just wanted to see if there was a general concensus on this.
What pokes do you all think would be staples for us to use?
Are all of her lows unsafe? Just playing through each of them that seems to be the case to me.
I don't think she's as bad as some make her out to be. I do think she could do a tad bit more damage though.
Her combos are limited with it. Her non combo based damage out put is limited with out it. a little give and take I suppose :)How does she feel when without the orb? From what I've seen, having the orb equipped gives you greater damage and more options to pressure the opponent. Does she feel limited without it?
Pretty much right on the money. Knowing what moves to use with or without the orb in certain situations is key. She's gonna be a toughie to crack, that's for sure, haha. Her combos are limited with it. Her non combo based damage out put is limited with out it. a little give and take I suppose :)
Her zoning game is great. Specially when you get the opponent blocking. She has a chain of about three moves, 6A+B 2B+K 2A+B that control space really well. When it comes to super side step. at melee range she is perfectly fine, however I'd say at range she is very linear, similar to scIV Ivy, without the Whip 6B+K2.I see, sounds like something you always have to keep in mind while playing her. Does she have the ability to play a zoning game? Her orb seems to be rigidly linear.
You mean like CE Back turned throw 3B AAB 2A+B? or any other variation of that combo? Those are generally as high a damage out put you can get with one bar.Sounds good :) Just one more Q: have you found any high damage setups after trapping the opp. with her CE?
Teabag slam is 2A+B.So teabag slam is A+B...
hehehehehehehe thank you
Sounds like air control...Okay, so going up against the CPU. The combo that starts with 3B, after I do that and proceed to juggle using BBB, I can't finish it with 7K because the cpu decided to move in mid-air, why is that? (I'm only able to do the first 2 B's, then the cpu moves, is basically what I'm trying to say.)
The combo is done with A,A,B not B,B,B. That's why they are air controlling out.Okay, so going up against the CPU.
