Viola Story

Will we be able to make casual story lines in SC5? I want my Astaroth to secretly be Bangoo...he was only like 7 in SC4 right? And he looks like he has the same moves and even has story elements with Rock!

Well shes gunna be traveling ZWEI i guess, which im pretty sure hes evil, my guess is hes trying to use? She seems like a good guy tho..
 
So, I'm actually rather excited about Viola in SCV, and it brought me to thinking about the thories on WHO she is. Some say Amy, but I've come to the hypothesis that she's related to Ivy, possibly her daughter. Now this is obviously a little far fetched, but she has a lot of resemblence to Ivy if you look at her. For instance the white hair, their personalities, the similarities in clothing (Besides for Viola's dress and Ivy's... Thongs), and they both have "magical" abilities. So little has been mentioned about Viola, and she seems like a very interesting and unique character, and I'd like to discover more about her...
Which can't REALLY be done until the game's released. SO, LETS DISCUSS CRACKPOT THEORIES, SHALL WE?

Personally I'd be happy to see her style come back, but I've said it a thousand times, amy as a standalone character means absolutely nothing to me, or most people for that matter. so I really don't care if she comes back or not.
 
Guys.... Ivy is celibate. She doesn't want children since she knows that her cursed blood will be passed on to her child.
So chances of Viola being Ivy's daughter is infinitely close to zero.
As for my wacky speculation? Read on...
When Raph died, Amy found some kind of cool magic book to bring her dad back from the dead but she had to trade her memories for it. The ritual worked but some giant magic portal appeared and it sucked amy into a weird place with lily and roses (her birthplace) and when Amy awoke, she had the book with her, learned some awesome spell and summoned/created her magic ball to fight with. Traveling for many years, she was attacked by random bad guys.
Zwei was taking a midnight stroll to get some fresh air and he wanted to moon gaze (for some peculiar reason). He noticed viola beating up the bad guys (no, he doesn't rescue her. She's no damsel in distress XD) and decided that she would be a valuable ally in his unknown but probably devious plans for world domination and he walks over and... they teamed up. And it was a beautiful beginning to a beautiful relationship that is doomed to sink once Raphael finds them and rejects the idea of having such a son-inlaw. And that's my messed up theory.

... That's actually pretty inetesting, and sounds like it could be very possible. I just doubt it's Amy, honestly.
Guess we'll have to wait and see until we can get any real answer <_>

lmao, that's actually pretty valid! But anyway, here's my crazy theory,

Okay, so Raphael set off to find Soul Calibur/Edge whatever, leaving poor little Amy to fend for herself (as usual) unaware that what she really wants is not a pretty chandelier-turned-sword but a father. But Raph finds himself defeated horribly and doesn't return... Meanwhile Amy is sick of waiting and sets off to find him and make him come home. Along the way she could either 1) Meet with an accident and lose her memories 2) Be kidnapped by Zwei! ... For some reason. Maybe Ein was hungry.
So back with Raph, Nightmare decides to use his body as a host (yes, I'm proposing that Night's new body is Raph) but his soul goes free and it is now doomed to forever search for the daughter it lost in the name of greed and power...
And when he finally finds her, she doesn't even remember him. Tragic. :'(
Just a thought that's been in my head for a while now.

Your's is pretty valid as well. We do know that Amy left their castle in SCIV (I think it's cannon) and something must've happened to her. There were news of monsters (Mitsu profile from SCIV) and malfested so either the twisted energy of Soul Edge around Ortheinsburg warped her mind and gave her new powers, or she got attacked/kidnapped by someone.
Raphael is a good candidate for being Nightmare's new host. He was attacked in SC3 op by Tira and there's an important link with him and Nightmare/Siegfried in SC2. I've just recently read the stage profile for Night Terror's stage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vk1z1W8nYJI and the facts about that stage ties in very well with Raphael's madness and body tainted with Soul Edge. The only thing I'm wondering is how would Raphael still exist without his body. Unless someone made a body for him or something. But HOLY WIND! Raphael's height matches Nighty's new height! Ok, I officially believe that Nightmare's new body is Raph. Ik that it says that Nighty's weight is heavier but I think we're supposed to add in the armor for the weight calculations so they weight may not apply.
