Fun tournament for sure, glad I decided to come down for it.

Millionz - Thanks for letting me be part of Team Edward, I won't let you all down!

Tiamat - Business as usual, huh :-p I'm sad I didn't get a chance to play with you, but this way I didn't get embarrassed by some chair shenanigans.

KrazySyko - Made me look like a bitch (which isn't hard, but still, not nice!). Great work for your first Calibur tournament, maybe some day I can plot my revenge. Sweet, sweet revenge.

Jer - Trash

Tobin - Always a pleasure to hang out, see ya in Vegas!

Charles - You're gonna win PAX tournament, I can feel it, just focus!

Mitch - Tournament MVP. That chicken place was the shit, I've been thinking about it longingly ever since I left.

Anti-props

Hudathan - where were you? Made me a sad piggy, thought this tournament would have the most Raph turnout in the history of ever, but alas, it was not to be. If you are dead, then I apologize, but being dead would still be anti-props.

Crazy guy - you are just too crazy.

Bruizor - Stop being such a little bitch. Man up and whip out some Moons Over my Slammy!

Me - Way to leave your camera behind, at least you didn't crash and die on the drive home.
 
Hey everyone, I was the spiky haired fellow calling out names at the event. I just wanted to pop in to apologize, especially to Tiamat, for interrupting grand finals the way I did. No matter what we did we couldn't get the projector to %100 cooperate, anyone who was there will know what I'm talking about. But regardless of what the projector was doing I shouldn't have asked Syko to pause like that, he only did it because I specifically told him to. I can assure everyone it wont happen in any future events we run, live and learn.

Major thanks to everyone who came out! SCV had the largest turnout of all 3 games and it was by far the most fun to watch in my opinion! We will def be hosting you all again! =)
 
Congrats Tiamat, ooohh wait you won a tournament with Algol??? omfg now Algol is broken i guess, so lets nerf the shit out of his ass LOL

Don't worry about it, stuff happens. I wasn't mad at you in particular or anything. Thanks for helping run the tournament. Any news on if we'll be able to see vids soon? like a stream archive?

I just thought you were taking online about as seriously as I take it...that is to say, not at all.

When to step against Raph is always, when to attack gets trickier, though, if you aren't familiar with all his Prep entry moves. Any type of quick mid, or a stepping move, especially stepping TC moves will make Raph pee his pants.

So I watched all the top 8 vids just now and I gotta say that Winback vs Ringout match was pretty crazy

also lol @ piggy thinking my combos are tech traps


oh.....and I am very impressed by the video quality....it looks quite nice

I don't remember playing you, but I was really tired and on codeine the whole time, so I don't really remember much. Who did you play as? OMG, were you that Maxi, if so, I sort of feel bad for that, almost.
 
Yeah good vid quality. I just noticed too that the dude I played was wearin white and I was wearin black lol. I brought a small packet of salt for getting three CE moves snuffed but S*** happens so *shrugs*
Tiamat- Yea man I wanna play some algol. Nobody plays him at all so if I ever came across one I'd get stomped lol
 
Though dude on stream was WRONG. I can AA out of it with viola, I just didn't think to do it -_- Too much goin on in my head at the time lol

Piggy: very impressive performance despite the need to pull out the world's scrubbiest Natsu to get one of those wins. Still can't quite deal with that Raph.

UncleJemima: really impressive Yoshi--I wasn't able to put up much of a fight in our tourney match, but nice casuals afterwards.

Misato/Joeshimitsu: great to see you guys, glad you came out, and sorry I wasn't able to stay longer for casuals. Maybe next time you'll actually enter the tournament :)

Jer: trash

Mitch: unfortunate draw that had me knocking you out of losers, but on the bright side it was a good match. And as noted, great chicken.

Charles: thanks for coming out, hope you enjoyed that last sweet breath of pre-nerf Xiba.

Tiamat: congrats on the win, that's a pretty entertaining Algol you have.

NordicNinja: good game in the tourney, and nice job running it.

The other Yoshi that sent me into losers: nice game, hopefully if I play you again I'll get hit by fewer than 30 consecutive Dragonfly Ks.

Lucky you, you won't ever have to deal with Raph again! He got nerfed to bajeesus and back so he gets retired. Time to learn someone new after 10 years, I guess!

Lol yeah that was me. You don't need to feel bad. That loss was all on me for dropping the same combo 2 times in a row when either one would have rung you out
