What do you think your strengths and weaknesses as a player are?

My greatest strength is also my greatest weakness.

I watch my opponent too much. It's a strength because it means I get quite a lot of my damage from punishing them, but it's a weakness because I end up paying no attention to what I'm doing meaning I'm not applying enough pressure to force them to make mistakes.

I think I have ok offense, but when it comes to defense I just about suck.
Defense is something I really need to work on, since I feel I'm very aggressive and eventually I get careless to the point where I get predictable.

Strengths:

-Outstanding Yomi
-Really good on reaction (can JG almost anything)
-Solid knowledge on MUs
-Good at combos and punishing
-I tend to lead the rhythm of the match

Weaknesses:

-Unable to deal with negative results (if I lose the first round is almost for sure that I will lose the entire match)
-Very bad at escaping throws
-I get easily annoy
-No patience

Strengths- Just like average I guess? I dont really excel at anything.

Weakness-Cannot break throws.
Cant react to simple lows like Algol or Nightmare 1A
Stand there and blocking long charge Break attacks or Unblockables
I block too much.

Many of my strengths/weaknesses are matchup-specific, but I'll try to speak in generalities here.

Strengths:
-- Above-average matchup knowledge, especially Mitsu's matchups, but this is somewhere that I can still stand to improve
--Pretty good mixup game. As a result I thrive with characters who have many strong lows/throws in addition to mids, which is why I'm maining Rugi.
--Improving defense through steps and TCs. I'm also getting better at reading lows/guessing correctly and capitalizing on correct reads.

Weaknesses:
--Converting matchup knowledge into actual gameplay. When I was playing (read: getting my ass kicked by) Hawkeye last weekend he kept telling me to stay down when you see the Natsu unblockable bomb/flames, but I kept teching/rolling just by habit. It's something I just need to hash out in training mode, I guess.
--My biggest weakness though is movement and positioning. When I go in to attack I forget that I don't need to commit 100%. I can back out and fake or sidestep. When I watch pro players they're never afraid to just backstep instead of committing to an attack if they know the opponent is on the defense, just to see how they react. This isn't the weakness that costs me the most matches online or in tourneys, but I think this is the thing that will improve my game the most if I can get a good handle on controlling movement.
--The last one would have to be falling into predictable habits. I've been getting better at using some moves in a variety of scenarios such as 2KB BE and 4B (everyone's favorite moves :P), but I'm still predictable in some ways, like my use of 22B, which can be easy to punish if my opponent knows what to do.

Just a short list, obviously I've spent a lot more time thinking about the weaknesses than the strengths. Any advice on practicing/working on these weaknesses would surely be appreciated :)

Strengths:
Great execution
Can play anyone
Good with JG and GI
Moveset knowledge
Punish constantly(Not always best option but I still get damage)

Weaknesses:
Way to many bad matchups
Not very patient
Takes some time to get used to stuff(eg: Random Mitsu 4B(dont attack) and attacking immediately after grab break after getting ROed 5 times in a row cause of it)
Below average reaction time

Pros:
Great ukizeme and mindgames
Momentum based; can be difficult to stop once gets going
Specialist: Very familiar with his character's tools
Good at throw breaking
Good at downloading and adapting
Doesn't choke/crack under pressure
Patient, rarely loses his cool

Cons:
Weak matchup knowledge
Subpar execution
Poor reaction time
Over reliant on ukizeme, often makes stupid decisions at neutral (weak defense)
Momentum based; Tends to crumble if can't get anything started
Specialist: Can't play any other character well
Underuses GI, terrible at JG
Sometimes falls into patterns

Strengths
-Can play 3D footsies very well
-Good execution and pressure
-Relatively good at adapting

Weaknesses
-Bad at mixups, I tend to get linear and predictable after a while against good players
-Godawful at reaction, anyone with a fast throw will more often than not succeed
-Higher chance of choking when pressured or momentum is stopped, will desperately try to escape or mash and end up eating a 2nd or 3rd hit in a string
-When at match point, I tend to get reckless and impatient
-Cannot JG or GI to save my life

I seriously doubt that. No one, and I mean NO ONE can JG "almost everything". Are you really JGing more than 50% of the moves? Don't bullshit us.

He said almost ANYTHING, not almost everything. ;)

With proper anticipation and good reflexes it's totally possible to JG almost anything.

What do you mean? If you watch EVO Top 8, for example, you'll see plenty of Just Guards.

I don't want to derail this thread any further though so if you want to continue this feel free to PM me.

Your lack of respect toward other players is amusing. I'm really good to react to attacks either side stepping or JGing. Also ask any top player, JG is rather easy to do, the timing is simple. I can JG every CE, BE or GB attack with no complications, sorry if you can't do that.

I don't know if this count as a weakness but I don't use GI at all.

I block well but don't know when to attack, I become to consertive when I should attack when I do attack I don't punish. When I can inflect damage I somtimes don't.

My main weakness and I hate people specially stupid people they annoy me. I deal with dumb people all day at work. then I come home and listen to dump people call me name. Last night for example i was call a "white ass" and my wife kindly told the guy It's a white hairy ass. And that his CaS looked the village people.

I love my wife she can quickly shut up some 22 year old punk

i forgot, i have other weakness, even though im an offensive player, i tend to tutrle a LOT against characters like asta, i dont know why.
