But the argument was its becoming more anime like where as I see all that stuff (from the original game) on a constant basis in a fuck ton of the anime I watch. Even more so than western stuff that I watch.

Also major lol for thinking there is no sorcery or magic as they like to call it in anime.
 
Kilik - I don't understand why he is still in the game, at least he is good looking
Nightmare - If pyrrha omega is the new weilder of soul edge, why s nm still alive
Mitsurugi - he's too old for being in the game

I was hoping he was gonna get replaced with a chick similar in personality to Natsu with slightly bigger breast. I was probably the only person slightly disappointed when their main was revealed lol.

I just knew he wasn't gonna make the cut back then.

I honestly prefer Natsu than taki, but i got sad when they announced that sophitia was going to be replaced because she died, i was like seriously? she's one of the main characters!!!! but i can stand pyrrha, it isn't the same but whatever
hopefully they'll release cassandra as a DLC soon

Aside that 50 years is nothing new to fight game characters

If history ever teach me something is that as chara design,charisma and visual feeling, as much SC cast try to get younger the worse it get

Last great additions as characters was Zasalamel, Hilde and Setsuka... none of them a kids audience blowjob purpose
On the other hand replacer in SC are almost ever worse than the original one

The entire new group of SCV is meh, nobody particular iconic and more than else they give just the feeling to be in to please kids audience with herp der young/wannabe cool concept

As chara design Zwei is one of the most herp derp chara design i've ever seen in SC
Xiba with Sun Wukong (the very early Kilik sketches was too) concept was nice idea, but end up just an annoying justin bieber far from Kilik's effective design
No comment on teh naruto fans blowjob replacing Taki

Yeah, marketing is a bitch and prevent chara designer to do... well,chara design

I may save Leixia for being less annoying than Xian, and Pat for being a male (at least we don't got 2 S&S alexandra girls to replace 2 S&S alexandra girls)... but it's sad when the best new ones are "i may save", lol
Pyrrah is'nt my kind of character, but the design is well made. To bad a lil bit over-used (45th design variation of Sophi is'nt the exactly the best start point to design somebody NEW)

In SCV best chara designs are one more times veterans (and yes, Mitsu,specially 1p is one of them)
So keep Mitsu please, at least as long they are'nt free to add real characters and not just wannabe sell push
 
Personally, I feel that SCV characters are all great, if elysium was a direct clone of Soph's gameplay I would have been happy. You all realize the story was raped down to 1/4 of what it was going to be. Only characters I would have killed off is Algol, because he deserved to die and he shouldn't be in SCV. I wanted a new Kilik inferno, spawning a new soul devouring weapon.
 
If taki was replaced by natsu because of her age i don't see why mitsu shouldn't be replaced as well lol.
and yes, elysium should be a clone of sophitia, while pyrrha omega could have used cassandra's move set which is actually better than regular pyrrha's shitty gameplay. lol

Some years ago i will have even liked a new young ronin/samurai trained by Mitsu
But as today it will probably end up herp derp design that try too hard to be cool, made up to make fap teen trash tastes

Make no mistake, it will happen a day (surprized did'nt happened in SCV, even if Alpha Pat in some way take that place) but the more it take the better is
 
I like natsu... I like Leixia, Xiba would be good if he had a better movelist, sad that they made kilik an edge master and completely removed Mina... I miss rock, could have kept vader's fighting style and just made it a knight class (without the force powers) Aeon should have crawl stance, and honestly his story is pretty bad ass, he doesn't know who he is, all he knows is that if he eats the main characters he will get closer to remembering... pretty... bad... ass... Astaroth is always welcome, gotta have a power hungry dude. Cerv is bad ass, hes a pirate. I wish Taki was back with more ninja magic, maybe some other tricks, Look at tekken, everyone uses the same style, but at the same time, everyone is using a different style... 2 ninjas can be in a game and have different styles, so what if its a "clone" with alternate moves... its the difference between how ROCK and Astaroth, Mitsu and Yoshi, Kilik and Mina, and all the other "clones" are played. Hell I didnt even mind SCIII Iron Swordsman, was my favorite style of that game
 
Personally I'd get rid of Cervantes mostly just for the story, in SCV why is he there? What is his purpose there? He just came back from Astral Chaos but does he really have a motive? We could do without him
 
I would have been happy keeping Shura, but his style is unique and important,
Its like having a soul calibur game without Hwang/Yun Seong, it would be crap
