Who do you want to see appear as a guest character?

Why not?

Ryu Hayabusa ???

even though I like the character but we got Yoshimitsu & Natsu no need for another ninja !

Well no-one, but if I had to choose anything it would be something from the Tales series, and not a lead male. I feel they work better for 2D fighters though, and particularly Judith who would fit right in in Marvel, no? I'm sure Raven would work fairly well.

Errrr... honestly though, while I have liked every guest character style I've used bar Yoda, I would rather they focus on working their own characters into the game... Bangoo, Zasalamel reincarnation, Adult Talim, Older Yun-seung, etc. Those are far more important.
Why not just bring back Amy & make her ass use the Scythe? It would at least make the story less confusing if they decided to bring his ass back again. After all, he did die by night terror. Amy fans could see her again with a re-invented weapon for fans to use again.

Was the Scythe's play style really worth it though? I kind of felt like the play style wasn't so great. Mainly it was all about pulling enemies closer for an unsafe gameplay if they successfully blocked. The Scythe's play style wasn't really great at punishing foes close up. Just bring'em in, really. I felt like it was better at a distance then up close cause the animation for the moves takes too long.

4A+B,B & 4A,B & 66A & 66B,B & especially 1A,B. The moves in SCIII were better I thought.

Then that would just piss people off if the threads were necro'd. Sometimes I wish the hate would just end, lol n.n

Hayabusa is already in Dead or Alive and in Ninja Gaiden, I don't want him if Soul Calibur too.
To be honest, instead of guest from another game, I prefer an extra slot for characters with no story, like what we have in SC3 with Hwang, Li Long, Arthur... I miss them so much...

Zas (or the "scythe") moveset to me has a lot of potential. He doesnt' only have a lot of moves that pull people in on block at varying +/- frames, he also has a few decent moves that push the opponent out annoyingly far safely (like his SC4 4B+K.

While push/pull might be the thing most obvious, it should be expanded so that Zas is the character that can re-position the opponent the best as his "game design niche". He should have more moves that has the option to swat the opponent to his sides as well (similar to his CH chain grab scenarios). Obviously a character with great zoning and ability to move the opponent should have a threatening (but not abuseable) wall combo and ring out game. Also he shouldn't have a greater than 1 standard deviation shit-grab damage for whatever stupid reason in SC4.

I could see him differentiating himself from a perennial returnee Astaroth in that Astaroth is probably better at running at you to bulldoze you in 1 direction while Zas kinda stays where he is and pushes/pulls you in the direction of his choosing.

Arthur was a bitch pallette-swap, though. At least Hwang and Li Long had their own moves.
I main Arthur in SC3, and I can say that he plays completely different than Mitsu. He need to return because his style is one of the most uniques in SC3 because the way he can easely chain throws in his combos.
Actually back in SC3 Arthur moveset was kinda fun
Indeed.

Back in Soul Calibur, in the Korean versions of the game, Arthur was literally a wimped-out palette-swap with Mitsurugi's exact moveset because they thought a samurai would be offensive to Korean audiences and removed Mitsu from the game. As a character, he was literally born out of bitchy political correctness.

He didn't have a moveset different from Mitsu's until SCIII. And in SCIII he was just one of those characters you could select from a pool of pre-made characters for the Katana style if you didn't feel like making your own CaS. But the Katana was one of the first styles available to the player so it could be given to anybody, so it really wasn't exactly "his", any more than the lance was "Girardot's moveset" or the Wave Swords were "Revenant's moveset".

Am I saying I don't like the extra styles you could have in SCIII or that I didn't like the Katana style? No. I liked both. But I am saying Arthur is a bitch.
