Why do people spam

This is why I don't do Ranked...
But if you really want to do Ranked then try the spammer-crushing special that has always worked for me:
1. side step a lot
2. while sidestepping, grab them
3. repeat

Always worked with me. But it's too bland so I barely use it but I keep it in mind... Most spammers don't use horizontal attacks (or the ones I have fought).
 
Better answer to thread! (which is pretty much Tomahawk's in different words =p)

Because they can get away with it without being stopped. Sure they can lose but that won't stop them from doing it some more.

People spam because they love certain moves soooo much. And they love you sooooooooooo much too. So, they obviously want to share their love of the move with you over and over again n_n

try stepping it at -frames kinda hard
 
I think people spam just because 1A is really hard to do. Like, if you can get to that level where you can actually pull 1A off consistently, then i think spamming it is justified.
