Xbox Live Thread

Am I the only one who hates the new Xbox dashboard? It looks clunky, ugly and like a fucking wii. Which I hate. I like the new features like party chat and all the details you can see, netflix and all that...but fuck...this shit is ugly!

Loads slower, is inefficient on a lot of aspects and...for some reason is causing more disc read errors for people....

I, for one, love the new Xbox 360 dashboard.
 
I like NXE a lot too. Very welcome change, especially the universal guide button menu popup. I still wish I could play XBLA games from there, like while waiting for a game to load up.

It's too many damn games out. I'd get COD5 but it's SOOO similar to COD4....
 
Only thing I don't like is the friends list abomination and the fact that it starts on spotlight stuff instead of your main menu. Friend list I can at least get around using the guide button though. I guess it would be nice if you could pick where your old themes get cropped off too.

Overall I can't complain too much though.

i have the exact same bitches. The friends list went to shit, and i hate the fact that it starts you up on the spotlight. and that theme being cropped off at the middle is crap to. There was supposed to be a way that you can convert your text messageing keyboard to a "qwerty" keyboard, anyone figure that out yet?

Because it red ringed my xbox, right before I was going to buy L4D....that is why I don't like the NXE
 
There are still PLENTY of reasons to hat eon the NXE interface. ALL I SASK, is to give me an option to get my fucking blades back, I had them all pimped out and nice looking.

How about I say what I like, because not everyone has to like shitty interfaces that are shoved down their throat with no choices given.

I still play 360 and will continue to do so, now it just looks crappier. I'm not sorry if you are overly sensitive to my statements about it.

I don't really care for it either. I don't hate it, but it just seems the main reason they changed it was to better advertise. Meh.

The one thing I like better is that it tends to give you info faster (and I think it's easier to navigate) than the blade interface. Hate that it killed my theme tho.
 
i hate the friends list straight from the dashboard. Using the silver button version is still virtually the same but the dashboard version is to fancy for me. everything else im pretty happy with though. I love being able to put games on my harddrive. to bad i have only a 20g harddrive!
 
I haven't really speed tested it. But I guess a lot of it stems from me being used to the blades, I had that shit down to a system where I could navigate the things without a display on screen.

But all I know is my friends list loads uber slow, info loads super slow, the blue box from the guide button is fugly and the presentation of all their stuff seems to have taken a step backwards.

I suppose if they change that god awful blue box into something blade-like in resolution and quality, I could respect it more.

Plus I hate wii, hate wii-mi's and hate that 360 feels it needed to resort to that shit to try and drum up new business. I'm sure the statistics support their decision, but I still fucking hate the way they look and slow down my freakin console.

anyways, if you guys see me playing Fable, it's actually my wife playing on my acct so she can play with her other gay friends. So don't bother only if you see my acct on Fable. Anything else IT'S ME, HIT ME UP!

You have to hit me up, I can have fun on ANY game we play on 360 you just have to hit me up. Except, uh, Halo 3. But those days are behind us haha.

SR is beast. I had a blast.

I think the new NXE or whatever its called is great because it loads super fast for me. I don't care if it looks like a pile of dog shit, I hated hitting the guide button and waiting 20 seconds for that crap to come up so for me it's and instant plus.

And I'm back in DA GAME
