i think most characters of this few should be in ye but guys like xianghua and cassandra are dead as i thought. But maybe they can edit ellisium and give her sophitias moveset or something like that. At least Zasalamel should be there again i mean he cant die so why not ? :)

hmm but i guess we cant expect any dlc character i mean its out since januar and we still dont got any
mortal kombat allready got 4

I only agree with bringing back Zasalamel, maybe Yun-Seong, I don't care much for Talim but having the tonfas back would be nice though. As do the others though no unless they're given new styles I don't want more clones, especially the Alexandras if Casandra must return it better be with something different.

Agree that Zas should be back but guys, please keep in mind that his immortality holds a different meaning. He can absolutely DIE. If you stab him in the stomach, he's going to keel over. What happens next is that his soul immediately reincarnates and he starts over as a baby but he'll have all of his previous knowledge and powers. But it's an endless reincarnation. Some speculate that the reason he isn't in is because with a body of a child, he can't fight. I'm still hoping he'll be in because he's a descendant of the spirit tribe that guarded SC and he knows more about the swords then anyone else. (Ivy should be slightly close since she's been studying the swords for quite awhile).

As for Talim, it's confirmed that she's alive (ZeroEffect talked with Jaxel who was told by the developers present) but as to why she's isn't in, it confuzzles me. She is the only other person who has purifying abilities and had visions about SC ever since SCIII. And those tonfas were awesome weapons.

Anyone who says that she's not in because her style sucks... (>V_V) it's the developers/balance team jobs to work on it. If they can fix Hilde and Algol, then they can balance her wind dance battle style. While they're at it, I hope they'll fix Raph for the next game as well. That guy needs to be redesigned.

Someone understands! :D
If we follow the storyline, it'd be just like the older games (Just Pyrrha Omega being Sophitia) with Sophie and Cass as the only S&S users. I just want Talim and YunSeong back, but thats probably just because I never even used Zasalamel.

I'd actually want Cassandra back or at least her style for CAS. I was playing SCIII a few days ago and was mainly using her. It reminded me of why I liked her fighting style. Fast, hard hitting... <3 Her moves are killer and I like her moveset a lot better then Pyrrha's timid annoying one. I've gotten used to Patroklos' but Pyrrha's... Just not so much and it's hard to create a Sword/shield character with those stupid animations of hers. It works for her but not for CAS characters.

But yeah, other than that, I want Yun-Seong, Zasalamel, & Talim back. If not this game, then the next. =) And if they can, I think Setsuka should get a proper replacement and axe Alpha Patroklos. His own Sword/shield style is very unique and I wouldn't want to see it get replaced with Alpha Patroklos.

Zasalamel we definitely need. There is no reason he can't be the game, no plot points between IV and V (except his ending in IV, but that only solidifies the reason he should be here, true immortality.) that could hinder his appearance. Yun-Seong should also be here. If we can have ****ing 67, 45, and 46 year old men (Voldo, Maxi, and Mitsu, respectively), why can't we have a 35 year-old Yun? It makes no sense.

I want Cassandra back T_T!!! I do miss Yun-seong and Talim too - such a waste to completely remove unique weapon styles which had so much potential. However, adding more characters to the roster requires a lot of attention to balancing issues. Already we have problems in the community about who needs nerfs and buffs. I don't think Project Soul can handle any more balancing issues as it is.

I think adding character dlc won't happen because we can see already how Project Soul seems to be slowing down the releases of costume dlc, hinting that they have limited dlc to offer in the near future. At this rate, how much longer is there before there is no more dlc at all? As of now, Namco also seems to be putting a lot of time and effort into TTT2, so what chance do we have of dlc characters?

Maybe it can happen in the future, but tbh I think Namco might as well just release SCVI (if there is one), including all of the characters/weapon styles our community misses so much ^_^!!!

S&S styles are all generally the same (minus Pat), you play them the same. If you can play Sophitia you can play Cassandra, vice versa. I'll agree with the Yun and Talim bit though. Also about the balance of the game, SCIV was much more unbalanced then SCV. PS has done a pretty good job.

I don't see why people love Namco's crackhead simulator so much either.

So we would just add Yun, Talim, Zas, 2 more S&S to make the game dull, Rock, Amy, and some crappy CaS only styles.

Its not about unique characters for me here, its the fact that they should be aviliable to play as for whomever wants them. Theres a reason why I mained Cassandra in SC3 over Pyrrha... If PS knows people are attached to certain specifics then their "souls" should be for sale. I mean Tekken doesnt just kill off people this casually. They just recently brought jun back.

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear about wanting Cassandra back. Whilst the S&S styles may be played the same, I generally do miss Cassandra because of her personality - imo I liked her trast talking, determined and free-spirited attitude. While I now main Pyrrha because of her S&S style, I find her personality doesn't appeal too much to me, though I do respect how it is justified through story mode. Her quotes e.g. "sorry" are a bit too repetitive. So I end up using a custom character with her weapon style instead.

I don't think adding more S&S styles to the game doesn't make the game dull. The S&S style would be dull if the characters that used that style had the same way of fighting. However, each character that uses that style makes it their own. For example, Pyrrha fights in a timid manner, whilst omega fights really violently. Their different personalities comes through their style of fighting despite using the same weapon - this is what makes each S&S style different.

What I'm trying to say is that there is more to a weapon style than the way a player plays them. I miss the way Cassandra used the S&S style i.e. in a fun yet aggresive manner, you know? I hope this makes some sense to you ^^.

I don't really account for personalities I literally mean the fighting styles. Also if you want someone with a personality similar to Cassandra play Natsu. They seem similar to me, arrogant quotes and all. I don't take the animations into account either just the move's purpose.

It seems that if the S&S style had animations similar to Pat or Cass but played just like Pyrrha all while saying cheerful quotes and maintaining an arrogant demeanor that would please a lot of Cass fans.
