Attacks you may not be using enough

cause 33K:B RO's

and if all of A+B hits its more DMG

Good point on the 33K:B RO but A+B, A does not do more damage

2_8B+K, A+B,A = 54 damage and yes this if all the hits connect
2_8B+K 3 Prep BBB:B= 65

Unless its an RO i would just always stick with prep combo but thats just me

Millionz, BB is safe and is adv. on hit...o_o....just doesn't track.

Ruiner

lol...no it isnt. BB is UNSAFE on block and negative on hit. Go into training on try it. its been that way ever since SC4 came out. It's approximately -11 which isnt bad but that means Sophie, X, Taki and Amy can all punish it

So yes, BB is unsafe, disadvantage on hit and linear! wooohoo

you're right 3B prep is always more damage ...

but remember..not everyone plays sophie,x, taki, and amy :)

o_o

::goes into training mode::

......

I can't believe this...

it's a FUCKING BB man...why in the world would a BB be Disadvantage on HIT? On block -11 whatever.....I can deal....but negative on hit? WHY....?

..O_o.....this is beyond me.....

^^

Welcome to July 08

lol i remember lurking and hearing people complain about it .. until they discovered pre1.03 BB tracking. No need for horizontals!!

but... -2 on hit is very managable, as anything that can interrupt a raph 6BB can usually be 44B or stepped, and if they do a longer range move you can interrupt them (2A/6BB style)

Nah the -2 on hit sounds negligible but is really bad in reality, especially when you consider the fact that BB is one of the few moves he can rely on as a mid NC with decent speed to space with. He is often forced to stop his spacing on HIT and shift into a baiting game or hand the initiative over to the opponent. The fact that both BB and 1A are disadvantage on hit makes spacing tricky, at least AB works pretty well.

i got a 90 DMG combo with

SEB B 3B prep A A+B A

opposed to a 82 with the 3B version

although A+B a was inconsistent like hell

i mean one out of 10 tries ill try to find the timing

but right now im struggling with maxi so it might be awhile

isnt that why we only use B when not at tip range?

Did you test this with 2nd action Guard all? Did you also try setting them to tech to see if they could escape it?

I think i see how you got 90 but i think its just them eating a ground hit and takin the full damage when in reality they can tech/block.

could be wrong but thats what i think after trying it out myself

like i said it was weird

it was very inconstant

but ill push my maxi training back to find the timing

I'd hope you would Millionz, I was singing it at the same talent as the band does, which is none.

Titty-less-crew, seriously, they admitted it themselves.

TLC had no talent??? I beg to differ dude...
But in any case, did anyone mention 8A+B yet? GIs horizontal, good advantage on hit, and it can sometimes leave you in good postition if the first hit is whiff and the second one blocked. I'm studying that move right now, just wondering if anyone saved me the trouble...

One other thing: as far as 2_8B+K goes, it is somewhat useful after VE A on hit... after the second hit of VE A the opponent is almost forced to guard the 2_8B+K follow up. And even on guard Raph doesn't seem to be at much of a disadvantage (can't seem to find frame data on 2_8B+K, confirm plz). Normally (but not always) when Raph is on the left side his VE on hit pulls the opp towards the screen, so follow with 2B+K. Conversely, is Raph is on the right side, follow with 8B+K. I find it quite useful and i apologize if it's already been mentioned, but I thought i'd put that out there...

It feels to me that 2B+K is better than 8B+K ..in that it feels that the opponant has to pretty much step all the way to 12 o clock position ..which means that they're super up close.. so that 2A could have gotten them. 2B+K covers a little forward it seems... so the opponant doesn't have to step as deep and thus wouldn't be as deep.

However, Anyone ever catch amy doing 4A with it ?

One thing i'm trying to watch more is opponant doing moves that are in the -4 to -8 on block range, and then stepping your "intended" linear raph attack. If i could spot those easier, AND their steppign tendencies.. then i'll be so happy to score a 2B+K. I'd probably just taunt ..not even combo after it heheh

What about 6A thats pretty underrated considering it does a counter hit and its good to get the bum rushers off you
