T6BR tier list

Not in Tekken, step is still SO good even with improved tracking on moves. Regular 3,3 hit confirm was always good for him, I'm pretty sure.

Well damn, looks like I really am going to have to play like Rain and just spam lows like crazy while occasionally throwing out a launcher or very rarely a string.

Oh well, i'll get over the cheesy feeling.

Well if you're playing on the internet, you should be doing that with anyone. But we don't base a character's strengths/weaknesses off the laggy online play. If you stick to online, I really don't have any advice other than do moves a lot.

I don't intend to be using online for anything more than a place to practice inputs.

Yeah online is my 2nd practice mode when I am doing work or just chillin' haha. I just play randoms so I can test out stuff with characters. Once in a while you meet a pro and it's like damn give me some breathing room so I can just test out a move!

Bruce's 3,3 is delayable so that's a new and nice thing. I actually abuse this move a lot cuz most people don't duck it and if they do just do 32 (as some dude did to me). Some online shit with Bruce you can abuse is b2 and u/f3. When they like to do get-up low kicks, just u/f3 them in the face. And if you play Lei players who like to do their foolishery on the ground, just b2 to oblivion. Whether this is viable offline has yet to be tested by me, but this should give you a few more things to try out. Let me emphasize this again, this was only tested for online! f+3+4, and f3 are also some nice CH fishing tools I like to use, but that's when you know they're gonna be aggressive.

Btw, Kowtow since you posted in the SSF4 thread as well, damn seems like you play a lotta games! Are you trying to pick up all these games or do you have a certain # of games that are your mains? I've turned into a more casual/hardcore gamer so I'm looking at picking up other fighting games as well.

On another note, just started picking up Leo and damn he/she (I think it's she according to the director of the game) is pretty good too. Definitely scrub killer with her mix of low mid strings that knockdown. Close resemblance in style to Julia so if you're a Julia player it shouldn't be too bad of a transition. I like her supercharge moves as well those flashy bluish sparkles!

I can't figure Leo out at all. I don't know what to poke with, or juggle with. Trying to find any sort of stance transition (besides the obvious one) is also annoying.

Shame, I really like Baji-Quan, but for the life of me I can't figure out Leo at all.

Simple Leo stuff:

Pokes

- 1 (obviously)
- d + 2
- d/f + 1
- d/f + 4 (my main spacing and "stay the fuck away" poke).

Juggle

d/f + 2 (launch) ~ d/f + 1 ~ b + 2, 1 ~ d/b + 2, 2 (bound) ~ d/f 1 + 2, 1 + 2, qcf + 2

Note:

1) You can replace d/f + 2 with u/f + 4 as your launcher

2) You also have the option to b + 2, 1 + 2 after d/b + 2, 2 for oki reset.

That d/f + 2 juggle I listed isn't the main one I use. It's just one of Leo's simple juggles.

Main Leo juggle I use is:

d/f + 2 ~ f + 2 ~ b + 1, 4 ~ d/f, u/f + 1, b + 2, 1 + 2 ~ (f + 1 + 2) or (step ~ b + 2, 1 + 2 into oki reset).

If I launch with BOK 2 than I replace the f + 2 with f + 3

I never play online in this game. Played it once and that was enough. Couldn't stand it.

Some Leo stuff (my character usage is basically Bob/Lars......... Leo, so I'm not claiming to be a top tier Leo, but I use her enough to know a few bits).

* h/m/l and stance mixups (BOK works like ling's AOP, KNK is an oki machine, KNK into cd/fc/ws (KNK~df) mixups are effective if you know how to condition your opponent)
* oki
* wall carry into wall juice (B! near the wall, then FC2, WS141)
* learn how to setup the parry (b1+2 and the follow ups).
* df2 is -13 on block. Don't abuse.
* supercharge leads to good blue sparky moves.

Moves
1) 14 - hh fast poke. 10f punisher, nc. does not jail iirc.
2) FC df3 - l, knd on normal hit, good when opp is backed near a wall as an oki setup as it leaves them FDFT
3) uf12 - hh, nc, hold 1+2 to supercharge. -14 on block, so don't abuse.
4) df2+3 - low, +5 on hit (making any of your WS moves impossible to interrupt), on CH leaves them FDHT, setting up oki. On block, it's -11, so all they can get is a WS4 if they have it.
5) db41 - lm, sweeps on clean normal hit. Leaves them FDHT.
6) BOK1 - nothing crazy on normal, but gives stun on CH. CH stun = df2 launch unless they shake out of stun (hard to do in time).
7) WS3/CD~3 - floats backrollers. Good oki, and works well on the wall.
8) KNK4 - similar to WS3, but I think WS3 is faster. KNK4 has good mixups though (4 for low, 3 for mid launcher, 2 for punch that stuns on CH).
9) df1, df3, and df4 are saaaafe. df3 knd's on normal, wall splats.
10) d1 (mid, hold d to go into FC for mixups). floats on CH.
11) ws141 is -7/-12/-14 on block. IIRC, it's ncc. Best used as wall juice, but ws14 on its own isn't a bad poke, just don't abuse (because of low parry).
12) b1 is great for oki against back rollers. Very good range, and transitions into KNK.

Juggles:
df2_uf4, f2, b1,4~df~uf1, b2,1+2 (B!), dash~df1+2,1+2,qcf+2 (a.k.a. "BBP").
if near wall, replace post-B! with FC2, WS141

CH KNK2, df1, f4 (KNK)~df~uf1, db22 B!, BBP.

CH d1, df1, b+21, db22 B!, BBP

low-parry:
df1, b14~df~uf1, BBP

Can someone explain this Tekken Jargon I jsut learned how to speak "Calibur" but this 3,3 d+k blah blah is sooo confusing can someone explain?!?!?
