Yeah the finals list changed after Link, Saitoh, Kura (Talim wtf) didn't make it.

I really wanted to see u fight RTD though because I think ur fighting style is a natural counter to his.

Nori: I also pm'ed u and I just wanted to say shit talk is cool with me I love that shit but only with people that I know or have some form of relationship with. I don't know u whatsoever so it doesn't work that way for me.

Example I once had small issues with Ceirnian but I don't anymore and even though I don't know him persay I don't care because I understand him a little and the same thing with KDZ.
 
Btw, S-U, I never figured out why you didn't participate in Evo. With your Kilk skills, surely you would have made an impact. Care to enlighten me? I was saddened by the lack of Kilik players in the final 8.

Also, I watched the live stream yesterday and was very impressed with Malek, and KDZ. Congratulations to the former for winning it all, with much style at that (how about all those Ivy command throws, in the final match, no less) and to the latter for eliminating two Hildes in a row. AlphaMale's match against Omega was also very impressive. He has certainly grown as a player.

Anybody know where we can watch a recording of the live stream?

Booing theory eh? I didn't want to rant on this, but this shit is getting stupid. I know for a fact a lot of you supporting booing would not want to get booed themselves. Especially Bibulus, I know with certainty this guy would get really mad if he got booed. IvyFanboy, you want a whole crowd to boo you? I don't think so. Good guys and bad guys? That's even stupider, this isn't Days of our Lives or Wrestling. Ceirnian and RTD didn't decide to be villains and they aren't actors. You guys just decided to boo the shit out of them. Sure it gave you guys satisfaction because the majority of you can't handle hilde and of course it would make you happy. But there is no such thing as booing only the character. If you boo every time a hilde player does something you are booing the player. The boo's effect the player and not hilde, hilde isn't the one getting nervous. Hilde is also not the one getting frustrated. These aren't theories but just common sense.

Well for that matter how do you think international players feel with a crowd behind them chanting USA! USA! as loud as they can? It's not directly booing them, but it's definitely crowd noise in support of the opponent that could throw them off their game.

Furthermore, if fighting games are to advance and grow, larger crowds are gonna come with it. Are we gonna turn into golf and hold up big ass quiet signs and just limit ourselves to faggy little golf claps when someone wins? Players have been dealing with this kind of stuff for years, hell if you play in NJ you might have certain people right in your ear directly talking shit about YOU, not your character. Some of that stuff is really done specifically to be a dick, I won't name names but they're doing it purposely to throw someone off their game, which IS wrong. I don't see that with the boos, it's just crowd hype and players need to learn to deal with that. I highly doubt that's why RTD or Cedric lost.

Oh so you want a big ass crowd booing you? Get the fuck out of here. You highly doubt that's why they lost? Cedric messed up 2 easy cb3 combos at the end which would of gotten him the win. It's obvious he had nerves and you don't think the booing contributed to this at all?

Get over the freakin booes already!!! Big crowds can do what they want in the cheering section. Its not like people booed their names, it was the combo. It was a big stage w big atmosphere, take it for what it was.

I suppose Kobe should never play in Denver again because they boo him everytime he touches the ball, or its gonna make David Stern pull the nuggets out of there. People who know Rob and Ced know they are cool guys, and probably still joined in.

For real, get over it.

So you're blaming him dropping those combos on the boos? Although it's a good thing you said that he dropped those combos that would have won him the game. I was gonna refrain from coming in and pointing out that I've said all along the only way Hilde loses is to get screwed on stages (RTD) or drop her own combos, but since you said it then it's ok and people will agree. I was actually trying to be nice and ride the OMG HILDE GOT BEAT hype train with everyone else. So much for that, since you just pointed out that Cedric had the game won, if he didn't drop the combo. Hey wasn't me that said it, that's all you.

Again, if this game or any fighting game blows up, there's gonna be cheering and there's gonna be boos. Go ask Derek Jeter what he thinks about getting booed on the road by a stadium full of haters, he feeds off it. Not every player does, but that's just another area of strength/weakness in a competitive player.

I don't have enough money to make both so I got lucky financially in regards to Nats for a much cheaper price and I chose that.

I'll be better prepared financially for next years Evo because there is no doubt SC will be back after such a marvelous showing.

Yeah it saddens me to that there was absolutely no Kilik representers. I was under the assumption Kura would pick him but he chose talim. I'll try to rep Kilik for Nats because its probably gonna be better with so much momentum coming out of Evo.

Why are you trying to compare Cedric and RTD to a professional sports player? Again, do you want a full room at Evo to boo you? I am not arguing this because I am salty Cedric lost. I am arguing it because the people who booed are rationalizing completely wrong. People saying things like you can't say things because you weren't there. Honestly you weren't there either, sure you were at Evo but you weren't the guy getting the shit booed out of him. Booing is a bad thing because it's a mob mentality. The extent to which some of you want to defend it shows how bad it is. If booing really was a good thing people would of been doing it a long time ago in this game. How more simple can I make this? Do you want to get booed by a full crowd Kowtow?
 
Yo, if by chance I go to a major tournament; please boo me regardless. Showing up the crowd is more fun than anything. If you end up failing, then it's not like you let anyone down. lulz.
 
Booing the character is probably worse than booing the player. While it can be argued that the latter displays some sort of tension existing because of some sort of heated rivalry between competitors, the former is just a display of hate for an aspect of the game they can't deal with. If that's what it takes to get the crowd excited about a match, then there's serious problems with both the game and the community.
 
As Alex was saying though...you can't JUST boo the player. The player and the character are intertwined.
