Wow, what was the point of wanting binds banned with Hilde if it makes no difference? Maybe she is better off banned altogether, LOL.

What? I mean 4 buttons like this, for example: A = Square, B = Triangle, K = Circle, G = Guard
Using only these 4 buttons, Hilde must charge one move at a time and the trade-off is having to decide whether to break throws or not. She's much more beatable this way. Or am I missing something?

what i have been explaining to everyone is that Allowing 2 binds for a pad player is dumb, being that the hilde player can charge AND break the grab.
Her charges reset either way. How does banning binds make her less of a threat?

I know this is out of topic, but you guys need a small chuckle.
Soo wats the problem....
It introduces a tradeoff between charging moves and having access to normal inputs that involve A and/or B. That may not seem like much, but it highly complicates things for the Hilde user.
If they just charge A and B on shoulder buttons for the doom combo like they do now, only K attacks are useable and the user becomes far more predictable. If they charge different inputs at different times to remain unpredictable, then the doom combo won't be at the ready the whole match like it is now.
Big difference imo, but I'm sure some following posts dissagree.
yea I got that. Do you know what you have to do to break a grab in VF5? up, down, up down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start. Before you break a grab you have to let go of guard first (when someone grabs you, odds are you're already holding guard). So it's the same with the charges. Ya let go of the charge then press it again, so you're gonna be pushin the grab break window slightly, especially with command grabs. Once again, just somethin to get used to that's not really noteworthy. Ya know, Hilde can win the round if you try and grab her ONE TIME.Allowing 2 binds for a pad player is dumb, being that the hilde player can charge AND break the grab.
