BBCS is also ass, however the difference between Marvel and BB is that Marvel is actually fun and BB is just a boring ass game now.

Marvel is like a hot girl with bad breath. Still fun, but damn she need a breath mint or something. BB is a pretty girl who is boring as hell in bed. And I don't see much difference in the videos that I watched of the Japanese playing CS2, so meh.

If you are someone who needs to use Simple mode in a game that's pretty damn simple to begin with, then you are retarded and should not be playing fighting games. Press 3 buttons in a sequence to do a combo. Press 2 buttons to do a THC. If you can't do that, then you need to stick to something like See N Say or some shit like that.

The game itself is fine, but it's incomplete, so hopefully that some of the basic stuff that should have came with the game will be patched into it, which I am sure it will since Capcom isn't going to leave the game the way it is without patching it. They can't afford to have this game flop on them.

Would people who use simple mode really enjoy the online random experience when they get TOD'd/randomed out all day, or trashtalked up to 10?
 
I'm fine with it now. Yeah I see some issues, but like you I'm expecting some patching so it's all just fun for now, we'll break it at EVO, then after we'll probably get a better game when they have the proper info for a patch. Still banking on the damage out puts being nerfed, but I'm not nerd raging about it since people are still testing the waters and haven't really abused it on me yet.

Games got potential, just needs some love.
 
OK, am I the only one who's really damn tired of Sentinels? I just popped online for the first time yesterday and literally about 80% of all my matches had a Sentinel. Even offline matches I see on youtube and stuff always have him on at least one team. Really tired of hearing his stupid robot voice. All the Dantes in the world don't annoy me half as much as this pile scrap does. Nothing Chris' Magnum can't fix though lol

Yeah i get kinda annoyed at the constant use of Wesker, Zero, Sentinal, and Dante. It's kind of kept me from playing the characters. I'm normally not swayed by that, but i dunno. People just keep fappin off to youtube videos and Jwong's tweets and don't do any thinking or testing before they make decisions. Oh well I'll have character knowledge advantage down the line.
 
Sentinel can go fuck himself. I have always hated that character. Sure, I have Dante in my team, but at least he's tolerable compared to that asshat.

I'm hoping the major gameplay patch nerfs the ever loving fuckshit out of Sentinel and he becomes so useless no one would want to use him.
 
My plan with this game:


1. Buy it from some place
2. Write it to Hard Drive
3. Start it up yo
4. Unlock Sentinel
5. Randomly choose 2 chars (or pick Dante and choose one extra)
6. LEARN COMBOS
7. Become Marvel Champion

I can do it gaiz

lol I wouldn't say that I hate him THAT much. I mean, most Sentinels, if not, all Sentinels online suck MAJOR ass. Yet to lose to one. I think that I can speak for everyone on this when I say that we just need more variety. You can only bear "NEUTRALIZE!!! ROCKET PAUNCH!!! SENTINEL FOSE!!!" for so long.

In any case, maybe later we should all have an 8WR lobby. Although no spectator does indeed suck, we should chill for a bit with each other.
 
Well, when all the top players from MvC2 use Sentinel, and all the top players are saying Sentinel is the best, you get a straight out bandwagon effect.

That's just the way FG's go.

I'm all for this, though we'd have to have a 360 and PSN version since some of us (Namely myself) only have a 360 lol
 
I'll be playing on 360 this weekend, and by playing I mean using Sentinel and by weekend I mean including Friday-Monday.

MvC3 PARTY CHAT FULL OF 8WR PEOPLE?!?! I THINK SO.
 
Hahaha! Yeah, there are alot of Sent's on PSN but that doesn't really bother me. I usually -->H (Pistol fwd) - Teleport (L/H) ; L > dwn M > dwn H Ghost butterfly - Teleport (L) L > M > H > SP...three hit air combo > Ultimate Wesker.

And yeah, two of those and every Sent scrub I face retreats to the second most over used character in the game, Dante. After that it's mirror match mayhem. Would say the combo I pull went Dante but I don't feel like typing some 40 plus hit combo. LoL

Yeah, I like Dante too much to not play him because so many others do, and Wesker truly is an amazing character. See alot of Wesker's too. I'm not really set on Doramu so I'm looking for a good character that doesn't get a lot of screen time.

But the few times I was online alot of sucky people use Magneto, Storm, Sentinel, Dante, Akuma, Ironman... People I lost to where picking Superskrull, Chris, Felicia, She-Hulk. So you can take that info for what you will.

I'm having a great time with the game. Reminds me of the feeling I got when I first purchased MVC2 for PS2 so many years I go. I used Hayoto, Gambit, and Morrigan back then. I wish I could get that team back :(

But I really don't understand what you guys are talking about. I connect to matches with very little hastle at all. Not as smooth as SSF4 or Tekken 6 but still... Maybe because I'm not using XBL? PSN has been treating me fine.
 
Liking Chun a lot. She was my point in TvC and she plays damn near the same. Other than that, making Sentinel loops for her as I go along.
 
I'm loving my Dante, Trish, X-23 team so far.

Dante for rush down/main, Trish for versatility with rush down and keep away, and x-23 for raw maddening speed damage.
