Just a friendly reminder that this is the GGs thread, not the "Dump-All-of-the-Stuff-That-Would-Normally-Fit-Into-the-Amazing-Lag-Calibur-General-Discussion-Thread-But-It's-Closed-So-I-Can't-Post-It-There-Thread"

:)

Not to single anyone out, but there are some super obvious examples of this!

Well open that shit back up then!

Anyhow GGs to Majacides, I think that was his name. And poor Washington5, who finally just broke down after taking months of beatings from me despite using all the Siggy lag tacts in the world and just sent me a message saying 'how do I get better'? I simply sent him 'visit 8wayrun.com for answers'.

I'm going to leave BS1A alone, as its somewhat controversial. However: if you complain about 236B because of "online" you are a scrub. It's i17 out of CR, probably around i19 in total. It's a free mixup for the opponent ON HIT. What difference would being offline make? Oh let me guess, you're going to block 236B on reaction? Dude, enter some tournaments, if you can block i19 moves on reaction you will be probably be winning nationals in no time.

There's a rash of this going around lately and I'm getting sick of it.

PS Do you understand why you're a scrub yet?

darkfender I had no idea we played. What's your Live ID? Yeah I do whore the BS1A a bit, arguably a bit too much. Problem is that it covers too many bases for Voldo: mixup, reverse mixup, and step catcher. I think if I was playing offline, negative frame attacks would be more discouraged so it would be safer to step in and do a grab mixup instead of mixing up from a distance with BS1A. I will try to temper my use against you moreso in the future.

GG's to Hayate, a pleasure as always.

tag was "st lucifero" and it wasn't much a thing of discouraging, but more than i did some miscommand things like 33K:B becomes 3K and then B and lulz the B instead of being blocked CHit...same with some other commands....

well its a US=>EU connection so its supposed to lag a bit...u can use BS1A

Offline i think the difference is not step but 236B >__> offline it means that if i get any prep blocked i am gonna pay for that...(goes under every mixup .-.).

GGs to Burningvenasomthing or rather, enkindu and other randoms that Ive run across.

BGs to Nirf who feels its ok to BS 1A, 236 B and other horrible lag tactics on a cross country connection. But Im the scrub for bringing it to his attention. Oh well....to each, his own

HRD give yourself some good online practice by learning to step his 236B and outspace his BS1A online with Maxi. Step left mostly to make 236B whiff and try to punish (this is harder to do online though). Step left will also avoid the A+B that Nirf LOVES to throw out. Also, if you see he's back turned and you've got some distance between you and him try to bait out his 1A/3B or whatever the fuck he's gonna do (whiff) and then 66B+K his fucking ass. That's what I do. If you can do that shit online, offline it will be like cake to you. And we all know that offline is the only thing that really matters.

But honestly, I can't call BS1A or 236b lag tacts because both of those moves are hard to block on reaction offline. Sure I think that you have MUCH more of a chance of at least attempting to block fast lows like those or Mitsu 2K,B offline than online, it's still a viable offline tactic and so I don't call it a lag tact.

Shit, this is the good games thread huh? Well uh....good games to the fuckers I'm bout to play once I finish watching Cheaters in about an hour. Even the laggy MFers like the dude I played last night named 'fhfh' (I think he was from Japan). Dude was like Chaos1x with the fucking Algol 11As and the bubbles lol.

236B is an awesome move...BT1A is still a good move but differently from 2KB is easier to recognize and if you use that too often is easily blocked....

in reaction time expecting a move does a huge difference...and BT1a has a certain range and starts from BT so its easier to expect, whereas voldo 236B and mitsu 2KB starts from neutral and if opponent isn t really predictable are hard to expect.

I guess maybe Im more pissed bout the blatant dis respect he seem to dish out rather than than the moves itself.

But yeah my scrub ass will go into training and play around with it. But that inter-country connection just wasnt fun and I was getting hit with shit that I know I had blocked and throws I know that were broken. Just pissed me off.

But I dont care, Im over it. GGs anyways Nirf. Itll be awhile before we play again tho. Im done

GGs to Trolt, fun low tier battles

Also ggs to Bmarshall who got jollystomped, seems to be just a shell of his former self

Yeah, I block Voldo's BS 1A on reaction. Fellate me now.

Just came here to mention that I actually got online after playing my bro a couple of games and that Roshambo/8waywalk is pretty good. Was still a little laggy, but I dont' take online and hopefully he doesn't and comes to play with us soon! =D

Wow that was a good day for playing online. GGs to: Bean_kth, Sotirislive and Dranakal. Not only I met a new player (Sotiris) but also I can now connect with Dranakal, nice.

GG"S to MOLDAIVER, NuProphett, and Heaton, and I had no idea what you said when I left, something about a scrub? lol I hope not! xD

HRD, we don't have the best connection, and if you don't want to play me that's fine. Believe me you aren't the only one getting hit with extra shit, that is just how it is when you play online.

For what it's worth I still enjoyed playing you and would gladly do so again. I have no idea what you are talking about with the disrespect. I think if you are honest with yourself, you will try to back and reread the chat that occurred trying to look at it from the other perspective. The first message sent was yours, I don't remember for sure but I think you wrote "are you kidding?", and then followed up by accusing me over overusing BS1A and 236B.

Imagine how the conversation would have gone had you simply asked me to take it easy on the BS1Al/ 236B. It would have been a very different conversation. Especially the BS1A, I'm aware that the move is harder to deal with online then offline and I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt (although I will stress here that top players eat that move on mixup all the time, just look at some FSAK Voldo videos) and cut back my usage. But honestly the 236B stuff is just silly, it's a chip low which is as fast as many other moves considered wholly unreactable by the entire community. It's no more boosted than any other move is online.

Anyhow, I imagine you could choose to just ignore what I've written here in the name of moving on, and if you choose that it's ok. I did honestly write this post though with some hope of reconciliation. Like I said, you seemed like a chill guy in your earlier posts and I did enjoy playing you despite the connection, and I hope I get to do so again.
