Why are you all getting mad at me? This guy was a 3bar connection. In three second lag, I did whatever necessary to get out of there without leaving. So I did few combos. Just chill.
You have your views on her, I have mine. To me, she is crippled for having to go through such trouble to get a decent combo out.
Not everyone has the privilege of playing offline. I live in Utah. To my knowledge, there's no local tournaments, players, etc. Idle said he didn't know of any, either. I'm not going to travel across the country just to have a decent offline match, so excuse me for being happy I can win online. >.>

I've really lost track of where this discussion has gone. Some people claim that Tira is perfect as she is in SC4, but frankly, when the evidence to support that claim is "I play her well and win", I still fail to understand why a change is so unwelcome. It's a new game with completely new mechanics! If you love SC4 Tira so much, just stick to SC4. I'll enjoy her new moves and CE enough for the both of us. =P

i dont see why everyone is been harsh with vodka what he is saying is true and what you others guys are saying is true aswell,there is evidence that she can be played really well at high level
but i dont understand it because its like that with any character if you learn them properly
the reason why shes so hard to get good with(not to learn but to be beating people with her) is because lets face it she is criplled,even with some of you i dont know how you can just say she is perfect and say that she doesn not have a lot of weaknesses when its so clear that she does
the evidence is also very clear that tira is very weakenned
you can be really good with her when you get like high level with her like immortalxdragon but this is just the same as anyone else,like seoung-mina for example who is also clearly weak,but she is not weak as in weakened on purpose like tira,thats why we say that she is crippled
i dont how you can just ignore that tira has big unfair disadvantages compared to other characters no matter what your views on her,i just want her to have a fair advantage because she doesnt,like the other characters too

or sort of cover it up or something it seems
i dont see why changes to her are unwelcome either,it wont make her easier to play or anything like that,and us tira players dont want that anyway,she just needs to be more rewarding to learn and have a fair advantage and her very annoying things to be sorted out

im sorry for attacking you. you should only blame the state of Utah for not taking interest into a great game.
its just a comment such as this:
only leaves me wondering that everyone who prefers IV Tira is some ignorant and naive player.which is not true.
we have already seen changes to Tira's current moves. im sure that's project soul's way of telling us, were not replacing moves with new ones, but we are adding new inputs to moves that have new properties (e.g. the latest Tira vs Mitsu match shows that Tira's headbutt looks like it guarantees mood change, among other things) take that as you will

There's few people that were in love with her IV style. I really like playing with her, but because of the fact that she has a limited amount of stuns, she really urks me in most matches. I really love her JO 22/88B~11/77K~B+K.(delay)B and GL 3kA~11/77K~66:B, but without a wall/edge nearby, they're really hard to pull out. GL 44B is a very slow attack, 4A+B pushes them back too far for any moves to work aside from 1aB, and WR K only stunns on gloomy. Going from Ivy with stuns falling out her ass with every input or Taki to Tira, it's hard to adjust to the fact that her really cool combos don't work out very often. Just my opinion.

It's interesting you should say this with a seemingly negative connotation; you were the one defending SC5 Tira from my smack-talk a few pages back. Looks like we're flip-flopping now... I blame Ivy again... =P

IMO knowledge and execution of combos is only a quarter of what is required for any player to use any character adequately. there are also concepts such as character knowledge, knowledge of other characters in terms knowing when to strike/punish/step, and awareness of situations and environment.

Haha, I remember hearing a song in one of the demo videos that sounded like it belonged in a Harry Potter movie! But I didn't know that was Tira's theme... nice to know I'm not just crazy for thinking that. XD

yeah it was definitly fun last time
i still go on SP VS occasionly with some friends,its pretty much dead now
thats why nearly all of my characters are all geared up with voodoo helm etc.
i need to verse more good tiras to be able to get experience
i cant really do offline yet even though there is some calibur back in the UK now before it was all like in america
i just dont think id be good enough but id still love to go to a tourneys and stuff
plus i dont have the money to go to tournaments and stuff yet
