Hilde : Oh hai I heard u were gonna destroy Soul Edge! Same goals as me, to destroy PURE EBIL! Lets team up!

Siggy : *Grumbles* I told you to stay out of my way...

*A looong time later*

Hilde : See I dont need some super shiny armor or sword to beat Nightmare! HEE HEE HEE!"
Siggy : ".......Just kill me already"
Hilde : "Nah you're pardoned for your crimes in SC 1 and 2, lets be a nice couple from now on"
Siggy : "O_o"

I don't see how Siegfried's ending can be canon without them completely changing it. It doesn't make sense that he crystallized himself and the whole world and then 17 years later he's back to leading the Schwarzwind. Hilde's ending would make sense because he actually lives. Siegfried could be helping Hilde find her father and rebuild her kingdom in return for being pardoned. Whether he fathered her kids or not is still undetermined but I think it's likely he did.

I doubt he's the father of her kids.. He says in one of his win poses after beating Hilde.. "Even to friends, I cannot lose." I don't know of many 'friends with benefits' that have a kid, let alone two. I don't see him being the father, but maybe she secretly wants him. or vise versa. :b

Won't know for sure yet til the game comes out. It would be a nice contrast to the Alexandra family. Happy "uknighted" family vs. tragic broken family. I figured since her story is so strongly connected to Siegfried's then he must be the father. Who else could it be?
 
Well, she had an entire kingdom around. I just don't see why anyone would call the mother of their children "friends".
 
I agree that he is more of a father figure in the eyes of her children. However, I honestly don't think that he is the biological father. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't of forgot to mention that his bloodline carries on. What do that kids look like anyway? Has there been concept art of them yet?

Until this game, we never saw Sophie's kids (to my knowledge), so I don't know why they'd show hers.
 
After hearing the victory thing that Siegfried says to Hilde it seems as if they are not together...kind of a shame as it would put an interesting spin on the story at least. She probably met someone in his old group (hence why she is traveling with Siegfried) but then again who really knows. This is Soul Calibur and she could be with his group because ______. When are we ever told minor details after all...they might just leave it open to interpretation. I do have to wonder for what reason Siegfried and Hilde would have to fight each other (again) for...here's hoping the story is not only decent but also coherent.

They REALLY need to work on their plot. So yeah. But to me having children are not a minor detail to his story. If they considered that minor, then I'm afraid of what else he's going through. I mean, he's done with being Nightmare. So what else could happen?

Technically you "see" them in Tira's ending in SCIII. But it's more so the top of their heads. xD Besides, I'd wanna see if she has royal gingers as kids!
Edit: From her profile it sounds like the children are traveling with her, but not fighting. So don't ya think you'd see them maybe once? Sophitia's children never traveled with her so I understand not really seeing them. If they weren't traveling with Hilde then were are they staying? Her kingdom is breaking down so I doubt she'd put them in such dangerous terittory.
