Lol, but really.. It would make sense: Sophitia being the new host (Sophitia's actual character/soul dead or unconscious :/)
And Cassandra feeling guilt or feels that she is the one responsible to put Soul Edge's evil to an end, especially since he took over Sophitia. I can only dream.

I think that the idea with Soph is very reasonable. But then there comes a problem with having Cassandra in the game. Hopefully Pyrrha gets some of her moves, because none of us want to see Pat do half the things Cassandra does.
 
Then again, about all of Pyrrha's moves are Sophitia's. So whats the point of her returning? Maybe with a new fighting style? Who knows. As for Pat, his moves are unique, I havent seen any resemblance to Cassandra. Maybe a few move animation looks like some of her's.. Doesnt mean He is Cassy's replacement, or that he will do half the moves she will for that matter. I don't see why Cassy shouldn't return.

I was talking about the moves like 44B+K and 66k. Pat doing those would be creepy.
What they should do is make some of those elderly characters bonus character with all their moves from IV. Are we getting off topic, cause it feels like it?

30 is old for a female fighting game character. Hell, lets be honest, 28 is old for female fighting game characters. 35 is pretty much one foot in the grave.

Because of the "Namco rule" ? Or because of sexism? Hilde survived in 5. Shines some light on the other girls.
 
Target audience is teenage boys. It's not sexism, it's marketing. Or both.

Hilde mostly wears armor, and is not sexualized. It's not an issue of "female" so much as "female who is sexualized in some way."

Cassandra is sexualized in the Japanese "overly cute" fetish way. She is a loveable fuckup who throws the goods at you. Putting her over 30 is no good, and obviously they didn't intend to loophole EVERY character with the whole "uhhhh it was Soul Edge" BS.

If you had more female characters who weren't intended as masturbation fodder in some way; you might see them back. Using that logic, Talim has the most chance of coming back among the females left-over.
 
The only females over 20 that are coming back are the ones that have been directly affected by it. Such as Ivy, who was born out of it (if you count her as Soulvantes's "evil seed", lolol). Otherwise, the only returning females are Tira, Hilde, Amy (if she isn't Viola), and possibly Talim.

Maybe they're making the physical spirit for soul calibur? I mean, they're way over due for that =P
 
I understand that they used sex as a foundation in making this series successful. But they can't rely on that forever. People have come to like those characters besides their sex appeal alone. And this is why they're having trouble with who they're keeping. Since they're trying to bring in new fans, they're most likely going to leave alot of the female cast. Which to me really sucks. Because that might drive out the "veteran" fans. And honestly the veteran fans are most likely their main audience. So they should probably suck it up and put their weird fetishes aside and keep some of the older female characters. I imagine most of the members disagree with this?

Remember Olga/Olivia (or whatever her name was) from the "Schwartzwind" sketch? Was she the reason Hilde changed her hairstyle or was she just Hilde in disguise? Or do you think we'll see her in the game (in some form or another)? or was this disgussed somewhere already

I don't see how Siegfried's ending can be canon without them completely changing it. It doesn't make sense that he crystallized himself and the whole world and then 17 years later he's back to leading the Schwarzwind. Hilde's ending would make sense because he actually lives. Siegfried could be helping Hilde find her father and rebuild her kingdom in return for being pardoned. Whether he fathered her kids or not is still undetermined but I think it's likely he did.

For Maxi I think his goal in this game is to eliminate the group that is responsible for the Astaroths. Since killing one Astaroth just means he'll be replaced by another Maxi decided to go to the source and put a stop to them.

And Tira. God knows what the hell Tira is scheming in that twisted mind of hers. I'm certain Nightmare is involved somehow.

This made my day. :) Hilde got knocked up by Sieg and Sieg knows it. They are hiding it from the others because they are embarrased or something retarded so Hilde refuses to reveal who the father is. (Fanfiction time!) Tira is traveling with Pyyrah and trying to lead her to become the new host. Patty cakes is looking for his lost sister who has a reaaaaaaally bad memory. Maxi doing nothing important as usually. Ivy trying to get breast transplants because she's tired of not being able to get up in the morning teach students to do something good. ZWEI sooooo wants Viola and Raph will come and try to take Viola and rape beat ZWEI.
