SCV- New CHARACTER ideas

And it would be nice to have an alternate boss again like in SC3's Night terror.

Im serious, this aspect is constantly emphaized more and more every game onbut we hardly see it. SC3 had a stage with floating will-o-wisps. In the older SC games, when Nightmare got on his knees to ask for souls, his hand would turn blue and smoky.

Where are the souls? we have the swords... where is the darkness of the abyss?
Viola and Astaroth are the only things so far that looks like a start of the feeling.
Personally I thought they should have let nightmare bring the "end of days", then have sophitia's children save it in this game. If this continues straight from Sophitia's ending then what was Nightmare doing? sleeping in his chair?
 
Undead eh? Hmmm.....well there is a zombie/frankenstine monster. Perhaps the addition of not a skeleton, but a reanimated corpse by way of soul edge? Weapon would be knife. Fighting style: CQC (close quarters combat). Lots of throws and attack throws.
 
Sc should add a double sided blade. Like a knife on top of a staff and the bottom of it! endless combos and moves that add distance. Also, it'd be awsum if they had a staff that broke into nunchucks! like a maxi/kilik weapon mixture!

That sounds to convoluted XD. What they need is something straight forward. In weaponry, the flashier, the weaker. Which is why giant blades are just plain dumb in a fight. Instead, they should have kahli sticks. Painful but oh so effective.

In my humble opinion the series is yet becomed enough halloween as it is, for empty slots i hope for many as possible normal-not-magic warriors just here to stab-slash-cut each other in old good SC1 style

Lucky for me it seem SC5 is going to be less exagerated than SC4,at least as chara design,world and general visual approach(as moveset with pokemons and magic balls i can't say the same)

Just so we're clear, that IS medieval. Jin, in Samurai Champloo, is the last hurrah for the "honorable" samurai (albeit him being a ronin) from medieval Japan. If you're looking for medieval European... then no, it's not European. But it IS medieval, as Japan was a feudal nation until the 19th century IIRC.

I'm used to think at ours so from 400andsomething to 1400andsomething,and count that Japan's age just as "feudal Japan". But you're right,was theyr medieval age

I'm not asking for wizards and elves, Im asking for a darker enviroment. More themes like What Amy and Rapheal represent, more stages like Nightmare's castle, more characters like Tira. The whole soul thing doesnt mean, pumpkins and zombies everywhere, I mean more screaming ghosts in a mythological sense and spiritual way like in the early episodes of inuyasha. Skulls with glowing eyes and old english, not.. "Boo!"

:) There's definitely still room for a big/slow hard hitting character. The ball and chain char could have quick low damage short range moves and have to constantly keep working toward using his ball and chain for big damage and setups... would be cool.
Like Hilde, but well done? That would indeed be cool.

Not to be mean, but give Natsu a marine blue palette edit, and that's pretty much her. :P

Except Natsu's costume is better(sad as it is). The only real problems with Natsu are: Her hair and her red color. make her blue and she looks ten times better.

This one below is the closest thing to what I would have liked Natsu to be personally, it kinda retains her casual personality, looks less like a Taki recolor, and yes, I know they already created her to their liking but to my preference, this looks more authentic and the Fox mask adds the futal charm. Im not complaining, just a thought.

Three completely new styles:

1. Duel wielding Iron Fans, - A weaker style that thrives off of longer combos with multiple strikes. Can throw the fans similar to boomerangs for longer ranged attacks, these attacks have longer recovery frames, some being linear with only a few being thrown around her. Brave edges pull the target in when used with throwing attacks. Female, young 12- 16. - Malaysian, Chinese, perhaps some sort of Caucasian, German etc. -

2. Bladed Bow, - Combos involve shooting the arrows upward, similar to cervantes' 9A+K or hilde's SC4 A+B. Some arrows might have explosives as an optional attachment depending on the move being used and tapping the button that fires the arrow twice, explosives act like a guard breaker, but applying the explosives take a second longer in the animation, must connect with something to explode, I.E the wall, blocked, or connected with the opponent. - Male/Female, Early Twenties. - British, Roman, Swahili -

Dao sword that splits in two, - two stances, combined sword, for powerful single strikes, the majority of non just frame guard breakers and unblockables would be here, along with safe launchers, and split sword, Mid combo filler and combo finishers would go here. Can switch between stances by holding down the last button pressed in the string, I.E bb(B) would change him from single sword stance - split sword stance. - Male, Late twenties early thirties. - Persian, Indian -
