Regardless of the roster, I'm still hype about this game.
I'm playing UMVC3 online right now in lieu of SCV and I'm getting absolutely stomped by seemingly every person in Canada. And Spain, and Belgium and Japan. 2D fighters are not my forte.
Can't wait for SCV so I can actually win for a change. I preordered 2 copies from Best Buy!

10 more days till the tourney. Dino if you're still planning to bring that laptop for the tournament, then we need to met soon, so I can install the programs that need to be installed, and test what needs to be tested. If nothing gets done then all I can do is record matches with my camera during the tournament.

My opinion of the newly announced characters.
I feel that Namco was lazy with those characters if they are only mimics of male and females.
The worst thing they've done is not bring back Talim. The only filipina fighter and she got taken out.
I'm not satisfied if they are full mimics. Not happy at all.

I'm desperately hoping that they actually use styles not in the game SLASH DLC characters. Otherwise. What the Fuck.
However we need to put things in perspective. Rock (Clone) Mina (Clone) Yun (semi-clone, moves integrated into ZWEI) Talim (original, moves integrated into Zwei) and Zasalamel (Boss!?) are ALL UNDERUSED CHARACTERS. Namco must have seen some online statistics and noticed these guys don't get play time, Online or Offline. I feel the only people complaining are the ones who only really play the game casually.
I think there must be DLC. There is still a boss character to be revealed apparently, as well as an extra CAS style to be unlockled. So there is hope.

Amaury, another curiosity came up... is it only when you per-ordered the collector's edition or you can also order the standard edition to get the Dampierre download @ Best Buy?

Franman, you can pre-order the stardard edition to get the exclusive DLC code or Unlock code for Dampierre @ Bestbuy. We still don't know if Dampierre is gotten from DLC or Unlock.
The Collection edition has Dampierre (DLC or Unlock), 2 extra costumes, Soundtrack, art book and more @ Bestbuy.

I'm not sure if you notice but Russell was the one (hence the italics) who gave us the deal of pre-ordering SC5 for us. And I imagine for such a businessman like him if he can pull off a deal to include Dampierre DLC.
But nonetheless this is in regards/response to OOF's situation... for me I could careless about Dampierre. I just want to receive the game early. Reason I've asked is out of curiosity.
