For new players: 6A+B is a tech crouch that goes under highs, including high throws.

Special notations for this thread only:

Punish (P) = Interrupt in between or after string of attacks with 6A+B when blocked.

Step Punish (SP) = When a move is in between its strings, do a quick step to avoid the move, and punish with whatever you think is the best option.

Understand that where the notations have been placed in the attack strings is where you do the punish, or step punish. Also note that 6A+B is Brave Edge capable, so use it when the situation demands it.

Really interesting, I'm finding myself being able to just straight 6A+B certain highs, it auto ducks a little bit.
 
If it would only have a slightly better range.. Like the 6A+B BE version...

Then i would spam that move all day long... ALL DAY LONG!!
 
Was messing around with punishing Patroklos 6B,B,B.Don't know if it is already known but you can block the first hit then do 6A+B,it ducks the second hit in the string and hits him,if he stops on the first hit and tries anything after he gets CH 6A+B,or at least on the moves I tried with him he got counter hit by 6A+B.If he does 3K,K you can duck the second hit after blocking with 6A+B,if he stops after the first hit it is punishable close.His 22_88A,A is punishable by blocking the first hit then doing 6A+B,if he charges the second hit maxi gets a CH for himself,if Pat stops on the first hit he is safe if he just guards,gets CH if he tries something.Pat's 44K,K is punishable,block first hit then 6A+B,if he stops on first hit he is safe at max range and punishable anywhere else.

Okay I think that about does it,sorry if post is too long.Thought it would be good to list possible scenarios of each move ect.

@ZombieGuts: Maxi can dunk with 6 A+B in MOST OF strings with H Attacks from SC3.... i thought this was a general knowlege for regular Maxi's Players. ^^U .

An Example: 6AAB from Ezio -> Block [is best do a JG... but whatever] 1st Hit -> 6A+B on react.

[@ALL] BTW, anything you can punish with 6A+B [normal or BE] you also can do with 236236A+B+K so, think on this for max. damage in some situations.
 
i agree, although to be fair there is a larger list of things that are punishable with CE if you are fast enough on the input, since it's something like i8 i think (can punish mitsu B which is -8 but not 2B which is -7). also, maxi's CE can clean hit too :> obviously, it's a lot easier in a match to punish with 6A+B than it is to punish with the 236236 motion, though.

EDIT: i'm being told that the guide claims his CE is i14. the method i used in training mode was to record mitsu doing B or 2B and then hold G, which is how i test everything since the CPU dummy can be unreliable. if others want to double check this against other characters (i don't have the guide, i was using the mitsu section that got posted as a pdf) to figure this out that'd be great.

EDIT #2: never mind, i was getting bad results due to not holding guard long enough because of the CE animation, lol.
