[Minnesota] LOL, Minnesota Soul Calibur

Oh my, who knew there was an SC community in the land of 10k lakes? Just wanted to drop by and say hiya as a new 8WR member. Old school SC2 player who never got caught up with the newer iterations of the game. Picked up SC5 and remembered 8WR from some streams for SF4.

AumaanRa: There used to be a pretty large community back in the SC2 days. Nobody played SC3 and a few of us played SC4 for a while. Whereabouts do you live? I'm in Eden Prairie.
 
I live in Roseville but I work in Eagan, so i'm not to far away from alot of stuff. I think I "played" 3 for a period of time because I remember when Nightmare/sig split into two characters again, but I had been sucked into other games by that point. 5 has me on the ropes though =).
 
Well ,I'm going to be checking out the school on Feb 12th to the 14th. I'm not going to commit to it yet. i have to wait and see if NIU, Depaul, or Morehouse takes me. I also applied to schools in nocal and socal as well.

Indeed, although I have a feeling I will get crushed for awhile. 3d fighters are so incredibly foreign to me at the moment. The extra dimension messes with me at times, but i've only been hands on for about a day due to work.

Ah, gotcha. If I were you, I'd go to a school in cali if you get accepted lol. Better weather. Although, it hasn't been too bad this year.

Haha perhaps. But, I have yet to pick the game up. Hopefully this weekend I will get to the store. So you have a head start in that regard.

Let me know, can always make a player room and test out the web connection to locals. (the netcode as far as I can tell is silly good from what I've played with people far away)
