Tira - Video and Discussion Thread

Oh ho ho, I shall watch. I'm trying to adjust my tira strategy in a different direction.
Way to outclass that last tira in the last vid.

That 3 hit string that Maxi was doing a lot, ending in a kick saying "Going somewhere?"(sorry, forgot the notation of the string atm), seemed to give you problems. The kick gives him frame advantage on block and the string does track slightly. You have to duck that kick and WS punish.
 
I'm still practicing but I'm good enough to play online in player matches. Here's a match I played against some random Natsu

 
I wish I could upload good videos of my fights. I've usually only lose against the /really/ good people with Tira. They know all of her moves and what to punish. I hate that she's got super slow lows.

You can't? I have the PS3 version but it was pretty simple. Just output the vid to my vids folder and put it on a usb stick to my computer
 
Fraps is a program that records crap on your computer...The PS3 users are so spoiled they're forgetting there's no way to take replays off of a 360 without buying more hardware ;_;
 
Unless it spits out something with gigantic letterboxing and a bit rate so low you can't tell which stage it is, it's probably worth using. Caught a couple of your Tira replays, pretty good stuff.

But, yeah. I'd use it.. but it's really annoying. The audio is super horrid and doesn't ever line up with the video, the video randomly speeds up and slows down as it pleases. It's just a pain.
 
I had a match on Stream from Team Spooky. I had been waiting for 7 hours to play this match, so I did some bad input and mistakes, but I think I didn't do too bad for the first time on stream for a major. Know where I can improve for CEO.

you could of ended that first round if you had done 3b, 4a, 4k, 666b, instead of the 3aa. I don't why people use 3aa after 3b....

also against leaxia, you gotta be an A monster. GS 6a is hella nice for when shes whiffing out of range and just a nice move in general, blows up step decent. Not enough people use it. 2a, 3aa, 66a, throws, thats what you need to use when she's in your face. Also, why no 22b >:| 22b all day err day. make sure to mix it up with 66b as she can cry baby you out of it depending on how shes facing....
 
I use 3aa because it rings out well and you can't DI out of it. I thought she was going out of the ring with it.

I was being a little safe too. I whiffed a few 22Bs in the match, so I got a little scared to use it.

I was going to use 6a during the match, but was noticing he was whiffing some moves really bad so I got greedy a few times and wanted the 3b punish.
