I want to start seeing more (unisex) bondage gear. Lots of buckles and leather straps.

Yeah, I'd like to see this too. They would be awesome undergarments and come on, don't let Voldo & Ivy have all the bondage fun. Well, at least dating back to their earlier outfits like...

I'm actually surprised at the lack of buckles and belts and leather straps. Nearly all JRPG designs call for at least 50 belts. maybe they'll sell something like "Bundle of Belts" It will look similar to the chains only much thicker and instead of chains it's a bunch of belts wrapped up together.

I'm as surprised as you at the lack of some of the most basic things you could have expected in the "Extra" item category. No extra belts ? pouch ? sheathed sword or dagger ? padlocks ? extra hair pieces ?

One could also wonder about the lack of facial hair as makeup for male characters or actual mustaches as extra item (although horns do seem to do the job)...

Here's hoping those are just planned for DLC, they seem like the standard, logical stuff you'd expect from that creation system. :s

can i just say for the record that i would whore myself out to every single employee involved with sc5 for Kilik's helmet/mask to be cas dlc item.

that is a great idea.
in sc:bd we got le bellos stache as a face option
i never liked the idea of mustached faces counting as additional faces.
oh and please keep facial hair male only.
scary things

Yeah. True story. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TooManyBelts

Just start picking tropes and genre aesthetics out of a hat really. More of anything that ends in -punk. Cyberpunk, steampunk, clockpunk.

Some other bullshit to remind the developers about: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GogglesDoNothing

We're missing out on a lot of typically standard aspects of anime meaninglessness.

There are goggles in the accessory section, but they only have one shape and it's far too small to be an "anime" pair of goggles. The band needs to be a lot thicker and there should be several shapes, one of them square / rectangle.

LOL....<(*o*)>
Guys, they took off Viola's 2p outfit on the character pack #1. It used to be there and she was behind Zwei.
<----------- (my avatar)
But now it's gone. I'm assuming ppl complained about getting ripped off since it advertised her outfit but we didn't get it.

Just noticed, too. I guess they realized "omgwtfbbqquickPhotoshopandremovethis"
Lol. Well, I'll be keeping this avatar for awhile now and when ppl ask, I'll say it was the illustration for the character pack before PS removed to avoid confrontation on why Viola's 2p wasn't downloadable in the 1st char pack.
Le Bello hates Viola's 2P anyway.
But I really wanted that veil and the pwetty ribbon scarf thing around her arms (>X___X)
But now... I have to wait....wait.... wait...wait...

All jokes aside we saw it.
They know we saw it.
We should get it.
So what if the photo has been "UPDATED".
They can check to see who bought it before the photo was edited.
then offer it to us as gesture of good faith.

I have to say between all the things NB has fudged since the release of this game.
(insert your issues here)
I have already decided to "try before i buy" on the next SC game (who knows when that will be).

NB cant afford to upset their fans with disappearing dlc.
I don't know how much pull we have as a community here or how close NB follows the boards.

but if they care about us purchasing future dlc.

They should know this was very shady on their part and i would like to their response on the matter.

Maybe we should see if a video game news site thinks its at least a story.

let me hear your thoughts.

Was this fair?

Le Bello is curious - If the DLC was never available, how can it have disappeared?

Le Bello wonders why everyone assumes the lack of 2P Viola is the mistake - Mayhaps the picture was the mistake and Viola's 2P outfit was never supposed to be available in the first place?

Pyrrha/PyrO are essentially the same character, so having her 2P ensemble (with only 1 unique item) just seemed to make sense.

If Viola's 2P outfit was supposed to be available, then why not Elysium's? Surely they wouldn't have P/V's full range without E's as well? However, as she was never pictured, Le Bello is inclined to believe Viola's 2P wasn't planned.

PS/Bamco/Nandai/Alan Sugar are not going to give you the outfit for free as any form on compensation because a member of their staff probably made a mistake, nor do they owe you anything because someone may have messed up.

Or maybe there's a perfectly good reason it was removed after the original plan? Maybe it wasn't completed in time so they removed it for now in order to release the DLC on time.

Marketing is riddled with early versions of things - Details change, things are added, and other things are removed. Sometimes things don't go to plan, and the company reserves the right to change things at whatever point they decide.

Is it a story? No. Is it breaking headline news? No. Le Bello doesn't even believe it's a side column piece.

The fan's passionate overreaction is amusing to Le Bello however. Mayhaps THAT ought to be the story.

"Fans fight for rights to frolic in floaty frocks." Or "Project Soul personally scrutinized for possibly selling perfectly suitable products, sans presumably sorted pretty selections."

It is quite shady but just one question, did anyone remember if it said it included Viola's 2p pieces in the texts. You know, on the left hand side where it goes like Pat's 7 pieces blah blah? If it didn't then they could say that we just didn't read it carefully enough before we purchased. (*.*<)
But the picture thing is definitively false advertising and it does make ppl angry so they shouldn't have done something like that. Great... first batch of DLC and they already messed up. I'm not going to be very trusting of the next DLC bundles to come until I'm veerrrryyy sure of what I'm purchasing. Or I'll look at the text instead of the pictures from now on.

Nowhere aside from the picture was Viola's 2P hinted at. In fact, the picture within the Cepheus Store doesn't even have that outfit either, so it's hardly false advertising.
This isn't the first batch of DLC. More like the 4th. Or 5th. Or 6th. Or 7th. And that's ignoring the Music packs.

Again, it's a blatant promotional slip-up and you're all whiny babies.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but the packaging is pretty important. If I'm selling apple juice then I'm going to have a picture of a cup of apple with a few pretty red apples on the carton. If there's an illustration of Viola's 2p on it then is it wrong to assume that it's in the package? I get at what you're saying that ppl should have looked at the pics of the pieces and read the text on the left but it's still a promotional slip-up.
And this batch of DLC is the first that isn't ALREADY ON THE DISC. The other clothes DLC is what I refer to as Disc Locked Content and I refuse to buy those because I don't support those kind of things.
