they cant afford to upset their fans with disappearing dlc.
Le Bello is curious - If the DLC was never available, how can it have disappeared?
Le Bello wonders why everyone assumes the lack of 2P Viola is the mistake - Mayhaps the picture was the mistake and Viola's 2P outfit was never supposed to be available in the first place?
Pyrrha/PyrO are essentially the same character, so having her 2P ensemble (with only 1 unique item) just seemed to make sense.
If Viola's 2P outfit was supposed to be available, then why not Elysium's? Surely they wouldn't have P/V's full range without E's as well? However, as she was never pictured, Le Bello is inclined to believe Viola's 2P wasn't planned.
PS/Bamco/Nandai/Alan Sugar are not going to give you the outfit for free as any form on compensation because a member of their staff probably made a mistake, nor do they owe you anything because someone may have messed up.
Or maybe there's a perfectly good reason it was removed after the original plan? Maybe it wasn't completed in time so they removed it for now in order to release the DLC on time.
Marketing is riddled with early versions of things - Details change, things are added, and other things are removed. Sometimes things don't go to plan, and the company reserves the right to change things at whatever point they decide.
Is it a story? No. Is it breaking headline news? No. Le Bello doesn't even believe it's a side column piece.
The fan's passionate overreaction is amusing to Le Bello however. Mayhaps THAT ought to be the story.
"Fans fight for rights to frolic in floaty frocks." Or "Project Soul personally scrutinized for possibly selling perfectly suitable products, sans presumably sorted pretty selections."
