I think Mirai Nikki is pretty bad overall. The story is such a ridiculous mess. The last few episodes were just... wat.

Ninth is awesome, though. She's my favourite character.

fate zero episode 15 is the coolest episode since episode 5 of season 1. berserker vs gilgamesh is always badass as hell, though lots of other cool things in this episode too

just got done with toradora. i was satisfied with the ending. tried watching Higurachi naka no (whatever that long title is) had one of the worst intros i've ever seen. it was nothing but talking and investigating what happened in a village but they weren't talking about anything that held my interest at all. probably not even gonna continue it. that was a horrible start after ending another great anime. Toradora is definitely on my favs list.

Higurashi no naku koro ni. Bro this show is an incredible extreme from Toradora. It's a multi arc, time bending, brutal murder mystery that you'll have to pay attention too. Every arc is about 4 eps long and each one pretty much plays out with 2 standard, average normal life situation episodes with only hints of whats going on and then 2 holy shit cunt balls fuck tits wtf? episodes. Each focusing on a different female lead.

Like Amagami SS except violent and psychotic.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. And, er, from what you described of the first episode, it seems like you actually started on Higurashi Kai, the second season. The first season starts with two girls getting their heads bashed in, you see.

Ah! that's it. no wonder. well then i'll need to get the 1st season and try again. i'm used to these crazy mind f**k type stories but this episode was just talking about a previous event that happened. i wanted to watch it because i wanted to see some people die with a decent story. which is why i didn't turn to Elfen Lied. that short series had a crappy plot in my opinion.

I think Higurashi is kind of hit-and-miss, but it's an enjoyable series overall.

And yes, Elfen Lied is awful.

Sankarea is looking so damn sexy at the moment.

I am going to start watching Fate/Stay Night, I hope it is as good as people say.

Fate/stay night, the anime, is only okay. It starts out pretty well but burns out around the halfway point. I love Rin, though. Oh, yes.

The visual novel is much better in pretty much every way. Make sure you watch Fate/Zero once you're done with FSN, by the way. It's amazing.

And yes, Fate is by the same people as Melty Blood. TYPE-MOON, they're called.

Type-Moon does good work overall.

The Fate/Stay Night anime is ok, it does a decent job portraying the story and the action ain't bad. But it dies halfways though, pretty much what ExtraSaber said. I do think the ending wasn't bad though, at least for what it was.
After that watch the Fate/Unlimited Blade Works movie in 1080p. See how amazingly beautiful it is and how amazingly bad it is at the same time. You get some sweet action though.
Then go to Fate/Zero and don't forget Carnival Phantasm.

I think Higurashi season 1 was good, it's definitely a view once only show though because it's good part were mainly SHOCK style moments. The only reason i'd watch it again is to show it to someone else.

Dear lord, Carnival Phantasm. How dare I forget to mention that. ;_;
Those 12 episodes were the most perfect 12 episodes ever. The racing episode was flawless.

Half way through Fate/Stay Night, so far so good, it's pretty hardcore but has it's cute moments too.
Just finished Dog Days, what a masterpiece, so excited for season 2.

I never got around to watching season 2 of TWGOK, though I did really like the first.

Anyone watching Jormungand this season? I think it's great fun.

Just finished the first season of TWGOK man that was really good, about to start the second season hoping it'll be just as good.

Do I have to watch fate/stay to enjoy fs zero? I've never seen either one but FS zero is available to me to watch and FS is not. Might I actually enjoy FS more starting at the prequel? Or are there ruinous spoilers in it, star wars prequel style.
