i noticed that you shouldn't take slide the pitch too much to the left, otherwise the voice seems a bit muffled, so i recalibered the whole thing to make all my insects sound even more menacing...hissssssssssssss

I've just watched all of your slide show and I honestly can't fault anything
You show incredible imagination and a flair for design, your recreations are very faithful and original characters are all so diverse. You've show time and time again that you know how to use stickers and face paints in new ways and I love your creative use accessories. My faves are still the bugs though they are pure genius!!!

Thanks Matty, those 4 lines really made my day, since you obviously noticed all the love (and sweat) put into this collection.
Coming from a talented CAS artist like yourself (did you think about making real garments of your insame CAS costumes ;o), it really means a lot.
Honestly, I think i really hit my limits with the bugs : suffice to say the editor was not at all designed to produce anything else than humanoïd...that is also why i stopped creating (at least for a while), because i did not think i could do much better with the tools at hand.
Maybe i'll go further down this road, with more wacky insects.
I was glad to see it inspired LordDraco, another gifted creator, to do a scorpion CAS ! (i do a bit of publicity for his thread, hush hush)

I FINISHED. And am now re-doing them BETTER THEN EVER BEFORE AND EVERAFTER. Seeing them in motion cause me to change my mind a few.
So, Le Bello will post them in batches of FIVE, if this is a format to which Vil can agree? (It also extends the longevity of the thread with regular updates =|;}D)

of course, brilliant idea, if not included in your review and to illustrate it, i might throw in a few additional CAS pics or artwork for the 5 CAS at hand (as bonus pics for your effort).
That is, if it is relevant of course, because i wouldn't want to draw attention from your text ;o)...daily updates would be fine IMO, but that is entirely up to you...

Le Bello thinks this idea is wonderful! <3 Perhaps then, if I did 6 at a time, you'd only need to post 3 pictures, thus saving yourself a bit of time?

sure, anything that suits you, i will start shooting in-game pictures in advance so i have a little in store to illustrate your posts. I hope you get some comments along the way too (to give you some air, i will try adopt a neutral/bystander posture, posting only pics until all of your CAS reviews are online).

Well, i now have about 15 brand new pictures in store to illustrate your review...i started with the older designs, because those were the ones i never shot in-game pics of, so it kinda gives them a nice new shine ;o)

i know have around 40 new pics ready to be posted...it does not cover all CAS i have made, and some of the very early build i did not keep...but i really went for the artistic shots (all in-game), so i hope you'll enjoy them along with Le Bello's review(s)...

WAR, huh? What is it good for? Capitalising on a Nation’s troubles, making a literal killing in arms dealership, and wooing pretty red-headed leaders. That’s what.
This WAR, however, is of a different kind. And Le Bello likes it. As far as recreations go, it’s as faithful as a loyal dog to his loving master. It’s as faithful as a favourite boomerang thrown by a boomerang expert, always returning, never failing.
However…
From what I can see, that actual character has feathers bursting gaily from one shoulder. Yours doesn’t, though Le Bello is willing to attribute this to a lack of spare slots?
Regardless this is an excellent CaS, and has that clunky but not overweight feel PERFECTLY, especially in battle where he moves with a certain brutality, topped with a bit of flourish. Le Bello awards it seven out of ten moustaches.

Is the Executioner a character in something, or a stand-alone design? Because as the latter, it’s very basic. Le Bello assumes this is early work, when you were getting used to the engine? Granted the arrows and wounds are impressive, but it’s an obvious and tired use of them that’s tiringly obvious.
The chains somehow appear forced (which, if we speak in meta-psychological terms, could indeed reinforce their being there through the very notion of feeling like they’re forced to be there, but I digress ponderously) and the whole thing is a bit bland. Compared to the rest of your gallery, this is one of Le Bello’s least favourites. Though the bloodwork is done very well, but the green skin puts Le Bello off. Three moustaches.

Le Bello isn’t a fan of GoW, but even so that Kratos is perfect. Le Bello’s jaw would’ve hit the floor, were the character not so flawless… Le Bello is SO PUNNY. Ten moustaches.
Le Bello can’t decide where he stands, sits or even lays with Leonidas. On the one hand, the armour and cloak go exceedingly well together. On the other, all that exposed chainmail makes him very bland and a bit generic. Le Bello is leaning to the dislike side, the design looks slouched, like it’s not as tall and great as it should be. Using the helmet ornament as an actual helmet ornament is something rarely seen though, and stops Leonidas from being too generic. Hmm... Four moustaches.
Le Bello feels a certain affinity with your Ivy 3P. She’s certainly an interesting design, resembling an art thief of sorts. The design could be improved however – The Purple/Red doesn’t seem to sit well with Le Bello, and the design looks very top-heavy. She doesn’t look like she’d look particularly good in battle, and whilst being one of the more original Ivy outfits Le Bello has seen, I can’t help but have a love/hate relationship with it. Whilst it’s nice to not see another dominatrix or Medusa design, it somehow comes off as bland. The knives don’t really work with what I see here, which is a level of sophistication that matches Ivy perfectly. Maybe try turning the red into a blue? Le Bello isn’t certain, but it’s nicely done, so, five moustaches.
Launcelot works in a way that Le Bello feels he isn’t entitled to. At first glance he appears haphazard, odd and a little patchwork. However the longer you stare and Launcelot, the better he becomes. The antlers match the handle on the sword and the quiver on his back, which accentuates the subtle greens to give him an earthy look without relying too much on the colours. It’s a subtle kind of colour psychology and it works like the most charming of charms. You can easily see this character hunting in a forest, almost camouflaged, as he patiently tracks his prey. It’s a very nice design, and yet the armour is perhaps TOO subtle? It takes away from the stand-out nature of the horns and makes the rest of him fairly forgettable, which is a shame, or perhaps the whole point?
Overall Le Bello thinks a bit more ornate armouring, but not too much, would greatly benefit him, otherwise, 7 moustaches.

I'd say i'd keep it low, but loving (ang agreeing with) your review and moustache rating...200%
Also, i cherish your hints for improvement : i will keep them for editing those designs later on.

Launcelot doesn't deserve to be so cool. STOP CONFUSING LE BELLO I LOVE YOU.
The Executioner was fairly bland compared to your other designs, so no love is lost here.
