I guess they didn't make it an upper equipment so that they don't have to bother with bigger morphs when you equip a "middle" equipment (like it does to other armors).

I completely agree about the spiky thing on the boots. Like many mentioned, it actually looks closer to historically-correct armors, but still has a few trippy design in it. However, those spike things weren't necessary and looks off even when wearing the full set.

I never looked at it like that, but you're right, it keeps the armour as slim and elegant as it should be. Thank you for the new perspective.

I think the spiky thing should've been a non-clashing 'Footwear' option, seeing as the greaves are leg-wear, but niggles and nitpicks.

The helm is arguably the best part of it. Apparently a lot of people dislike some of the clipping when the full set is equipped. Le Bello argues that they shouldn't just equip the full set then.

But I'm glad someone else likes the helm.

After reading post people had left about the A.A.1 dlc
I went in thinking it was pretty much 1 solid piece without alot replay value.
But was pleasantly surprised.
Its not as limiting creatively as you would think.
It also looks pretty cool with the white night tasset equiped to the full set.

I find it's got a nice look to it that makes it instantly stand out. It's not soon forgettable, and yet is somehow generic enough to make a common footsoldier. It's a GREAT purchase.

Gotta agree with you there! It can be used to make a generic footsoldier but it could also be used to make something more "advanced", overall it was a great set. Looking forward to more Ancient Armor sets.

I hope they release all the content from SC4 and Broken Destiny, shouldn't be too much work for them, we need all the pieces we can get, more equipment = more replay value in my opinion. Hell - It was the DLC and leak of the Skeleton DLC that brought me back to this game!

We really need more slots with all this DLC. How do they expect us to possibly explore all the options with only 50 CAS slots?
They'd expect us to delete characters.
Seriously though, good point, we need at least 50 more, my PS3's Hard drive can handle it easily, so what's the problem?

Savefile bloating can cause performance issues, especially on the PS3. Still, I can't see how CaS creations could use up more than a kilobyte of information each, which even the PS3's fragmented memory pools should be able to handle.

LBP's creation uses that system (making creations increases the file size too), so I don't really know what type of performance issue it could bring, if any.

But then you have to switch between saves to use all those characters and you need to exit to the main menu to do that ;_;

EDIT: And I'm assuming no one yet knows what actually *IS* in the third pack yet? Color me cynical, but I very very much doubt we're getting everything in that set of tiles Sectus extracted last week.

Oh, and while I'm at it...How have you guys actually used all this shit in the off-disc DLCs? Are there any that are still difficult to find a niche for? Me...

Headgears 1: SCII Nightmare 1P and SCII Astaroth 2P have definitely come in handy.

SCV Gear 1: Oprah's acheton for Tira cosplay, Elysium's togi for a dancing witch chick, Zwei's 2P pants for a satanic preacher, Zwei's 1P jacket for a grim reaper-y guy, Zwei's pants for a few guys, Viola's stockings for a couple hotties.

Maid Gear 1(lolol): Still working on a decent design with the merveilleuse body dealie.

Active Wear 1: lolololno
Ancient Armor 1: Armor of choice for generic redshirts.

Modern Costumes 1: The scarf works well with this chick's lovely little dress I need to make images of...

Tekken Costumes 1: Xiaoyu's bracelets go surprisingly well with that scarf and Viola's stockings, actually. Xiaoyu's shorts look surprisingly decent with Elysium's togi as well.

Granted, but at least the options are there. I'm using one for 3P/Cast Recreations, the other for originals. And if I use cloud storage, profit!

And I don't see why we wouldn't get all that stuff. SCV Character Equip 2, Ancient Armour 2 and a Modern Clothing 2? Then the uh, Pac Man tripe.

6 days 'til we find out anyway.

We'll probably get half of it on the 8th and the rest at the end of May, like in April they released 2 compatability packs.

I am going to assume we are getting most of it. Considering the first pack, I am going to guess we are getting an Ancient Armor pack, a Tekken pack, a Character pack, a Namco pack, and a Modern Wear pack.

Considering the Tekken, Namco, and ancient armor packs are pretty light, the only major pack that would be heavy in content would be the character armor pack (containing Leixia and Natsu 2p, Xiba 1p, and Ivy and Cerv costumes) which is about the same as what we had int he last character pack so it works out.

Overall, I think it will all come at once.

I remember seeing the second set of Ancient Armor in the last preview video (along with a handful of other things, such as the firefighter gear and the Pack-Man,) so I'm assuming we'll be getting those fairly soon. I don't really see why they wouldn't be dropped at the same time, although I suppose it's possible they'll be broken up into several releases. If that does happen, though, I can't imagine it being more than one or two.
