What items do you miss from previous CAS (SCIII/SCIV)?

It seemed that they didn't want users to depend on items that were used by characters. We do have some 2P SC4 equipment already, but there is just a handful of them. That might also be a reason why 1P and 2P outfits weren't available on release date.

I understand the reasoning behind that but I still wish they made them available on the spot. Because this time around, a lot of outfits look great compared to IV with the exception of a few. And with the new patterns/sticker concept, you players can add some differentiates to the outfits. Like, I never dress my character in the full main cast outfit, I mix and match.

I won't even get STARTED on the missing weapons. Weapons make the outfit too, for some of us.

Went back and played as Talim and Zasa after making this list in 4. x3 4 played so slow compared to 5 but you could actually SEE the moves. I enjoy the beauty... 5 is a blur in battle.

Just reading your whole post made me nostalgic of the old items. It feels like SCIII had lots more things then SCIV and V did though V is catching up with the DLC. But I do miss items like the Thief Pants, Long Leather Boots, Gamblers Robe, Enchanted Boots, Scorpion suit, Battle dress and so on. You pretty much nailed it on the head.

I actually do like Lizardman's dual axe concept, it really works for my Native American character lol. But I do miss Yun-Seong, Talim, Zasalamel, Cassandra, Amy, and Seoung Mina's styles a lot. The game feels weird without them. Hell, I even miss Sophitia's style even though Pyrrha and Omega Pyrrha are supposed to be it. I just liked how Sophitia played.

And when you Talim as your main style and Zasalamel as your second, are you referring to your mains or what you used to create yourself? x3

My former mains plus important to RP. x3 My Talim-based character is pretty much dead and my Zasa character is now wielding Sieg's style... it looks poo. :c
 
I'd really like to see Sophitia's SCIII 1P and 2P as well as Cassandra 2P. I really hope the Low Ponytail hairstyle from SCIII comes back as well.

Yeah, I liked Sophitia's SCIII 1p player. It was beautiful and the last somewhat modest Greek outfit she had until Soul Calibur 4 and Cassandra's 2p of SCIII is my most favorite outfit of hers.

Not really an item, but I miss the boring narrator dude from the previous games. They were a few of them but they all followed the tradition of sounding ridiculously corny and out of place which sort've grew on you. The new voice sounds too serious and sounds like the guy from MK.

I miss the blouse from setsuka's 2p, and the skirt... actually on my cas characters her whole outfit came in useful just looked odd on her. I really miss Amy's outfit too, Ivy's 2p and hilde's 2p... I'd love to have them again :) There's a bunch of things I used to like in 3 that didn't make it to 4 or 5 too but I can't remember the names of them any more :0
