Ezio Q&A / General Gameplay Discussion

What are some good moves to train the opponent to not sidestep?
66A (CH confirm into B)
3A
22AA (unsafe)
44A (unsafe but combos into CE on CH and looks boss as fuck. On NH if they try to hold G you get a free side throw attempt)
11A (unsafe and slow, but hits mid and gives combo on NH)

2A and 2K spam are also great.

I improved my wake up game and I'll probably post what I do on wake up after EVO for you guys. Force-Destruct has seen a little of what I've been doing so it's an improvement on that.

44B or 6K2 setups if I had to guess. Maybe even 11B.
I use 11B against a downed opponent. I works wonders after you've conditioned them to duck grabs, and block your mids.

What Juece uses is not to be said (YET.) Once EVO has begun, I will give the details.

44B & 6K2 hits counter-clockwise roll, and 11/77B & 66B hits clockwise roll IIRC.

I wish there was a jump over BT B+K / low mix-up other than from a headbutt.

I'm going to EVO, but I doubt I'll get out of my pools since I'm going there for fun only and consequently registered for 3 games. I don't have time to learn match-up against every single character, so I think I'm going to have some problems especially against Voldo and Ivy. GL to Juece in EVO!

I'd imagine if you land a 44k you could possibly for for a jump BT mix up. I haven't tested it but I imagine that it could work.

Well since EVO has passed and I have no need to save up any of my set-ups anymore I suppose I can post some stuff.

kG is your friend. Unlike most other characters feints this one is really good in that his whole body moves and does the starting animation of K of 22K. Using this while 8wr'ing can really confuse your opponent and give you some free 2k's.

My favorite tools on wake up are 11k and 22k, if they roll 11k will hit them and if the block low 22k will knock them on their ass. Once they fear the 22k you can continue to 11k them and follow up with 2k or 3b. This is an extremely effective way to keep pressure on people and force them to get up and block your attacks.

If you knock your opponent down and you don't have enough time to use 11k or 22k then you can always go for 3a and force them to block and set up more mix ups.

Another great thing is to abuse your B+kG on wake up, I wont go into detail as we've already established how great of a tactic it is.

Something I've done recently is after a B+g, 6k2 if I get another b+g I'll kG and then for for either 66b or 3b as they fear the 6k2 and want to punish a blocked attack.

Oh and after testing 6ABB delayed is amazing offline.

Hey fellow Assassins. I get my new Xbox around the 17th and I plan on Ezio being my next character in the long conquest of mastering(To an extent at least) the whole cast. Anyone wanna do some mirror matches then? Show me a thing or two. I am a super mega AC nerd($140 edition of AC2 when it came out haha) so I will learn fast. -Sigh- I only wish Altair could have been an outfit or something.

Throw me a friend request, I'd be glad to help.

I've decided to pick up Ezio. He's the perfect kind of underdog character. I know most of his moveset, any moves I shouldn't be using?
