Daww why all the ZWEI hate? I mean sure he looks like an escaped Guilty Gear character or something but he's pretty neat gameplay-wise.

Because SC was originally about characters and their weapons. Not their Robo Wolves, Magic Orbs, or Bubbles of Duty.
I think I understand your point, but where do you really draw the line when one of the iconic weapons of the series is a 10 foot long living, malevolent, fleshy sword with a giant eyeball sticking out of it?

That's better than a shinny 80lb woman launching a 300lb man into the air with a flick of the wrist.

Nothing wrong with Z.W.E.I.'s weapon, persay. The wolf is one problem, especially since this isn't the only game that has done this (Tekken Tag, funny enough from Namco). The other is....his unknown everything that has yet to be revealed. Overall, his character/role in the story is actually pretty interesting.

Viola's moveset is unique, yet fits in smoothly with the rest of the cast, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.

Algol, at least in SCIV, may have been a "Make this character out of nowhere" type of character, but it was presented well in the previous game. His "bad, but usually good" personality developed well, too. However, Algol really served no purpose to be in SCV, but to be a character who had a unique style.

In Viola's case they should replace her orb with SPIKED YO-YO OF DEATH.

In ZWEI's case I'm not sure, maybe DEADLY WOLF PUPPET?

With Viola's appearance and role in the story resembling a fortune teller, I doubt a spiked yoyo will fit her character as opposed to the orb. It won't at all actually.

I just wanted something more realistic, despite the series having nothing to do with realism.
Technically it wouldn't be a yoyo, it would just be a lightweight ball and chain. Make her hand claws a sickle for the complete set!

In my opinion Algol was great boss, but not a good regular character. I think he could return but as a ultimate challenge for a mission mode or something, he would be the very last thing you unlock in the game.

well he IS the last boss in legendary souls and he's the last character you unlock...so there's that
