here my entry,obviously i took the pac-bot idea from Capcom's SFxT,but then i follow my route :D

Wow. That Pac-bot is absolutely brilliant.

I hate saying it's over before the fat lady sings, but the bar has been set very high. I think people are going to have to start thinking way out-of-the-box if they want any shot at winning this round. This can become very exciting...

I would advise against that indeed, my friend. ;)

Much as I love Gatsu's Pac-Bot, I really don't like seeing people give up and say, "Whelp, there'll never be something to beat that. May as well just pack it in, folks." You should never take a good competition for granted, and you should certainly never discourage yourselves from making something the best you can. You may not always win, but loss will only be assured if you won't stand up and fight.

And now I'd better go put my CaS where my mouth is. XD

I'm not even snipping that. It makes too much sense. For "Fliptop likes this" read: "Fliptop agrees x10000 and broke his finger hammering the 'like' button so much".

Especially given the subject matter. It's a joke character, something funny or weird that makes people smile and laugh. It's the unexpected things that get stuck in people's minds and you've got free reign to do whatever you want. The scope for this is so huge, take advantage of that. Make something fun and show it off!

The current theme is "Joke Characters", as highlighted in the original post. If you'd care to delete your post and submit something that falls into that category, then by all means please do so.

Also, I'll remind everyone here: Votes made BEFORE the voting period DO NOT COUNT. (This is in the rules already.)
In fact, even mentioning voting pre-vote period will cause your vote to be completely ignored for the remainder of that theme.

I do this because when people read "This has my vote" and "I know who I'm voting for", they may find it disheartening. The idea here is to promote the talent of the community, not dis-encourage it. So, while Gatsu's Pac-Bot IS very good, it's not the be-all and end-all of the theme.

This is also why there're two winners to every theme.

I know some of your are merely expressing your feelings/opinions, and that's completely fine, but mentioning voting before the voting period is now against the rules. I don't like making things stricter, but it's all for the purpose of streamlining things. Tweaks and adjustments and so on.

Now then, Mummy hates shouting at you all, so hop along to bed and I'll find a nice story to read eh?
 
I agree, lol if people really don't even try i doubt i will ever partecipate again in a contest :D
Camon peoples there is no prize, do flashy shit and post it just for the fun to do it

Also, i very doubt to win: two weeks from now it will be almost forgotten, i will bet on the cool thing of the moment 1-2 days from the official start of the votes :D
Also dat Final Boss factor that i got, expect many go with the "i was split between these two, but i vote XXX because i know all others will vote Gatsu's" :D

So camon, give your best shot... the contest is absolutely not over, and the winner may be you!
And if at the end you're not the winner... well,who give a flying fuck, you had fun doing it :D
