rdmunhoz - Straightforward approach that captivates with great use of colors. What held you back was the shoulder pad. That could of use a sticker there. Despite that, you're definitely a strong competitor this time.
ThePascuzzi - The outfit was great! Reminded me a bit of a Full Metal Alchemist anime. The lady? Not so much. She could use a few more tweaking. While this is a minor nitpick, but even a guy like me would know cute 'ol face 2 with long silky jet black hair isn't always gonna win me over. I was thinking of a more European approach. Blonde or brunnette with a mature face and some make-up. Sure it would make me think european anime character, but I think I'd like that much more.
Donutman - While I'm thrilled to see you in a CAS contest, it falls short because the items don't look like they compliment each other. Less time on Devil May Cry, and more time making the Devil Go Smile. In other words, take your inspirations and make them your own. Or you could just enter with a Vergil #2004 or Dante #456 wearing whatever item. Regardless, trial and error make you stronger. The good news is Wandrian didn't enter and you did. That imho makes you better than him. You try. He doesn't. Hopefully he will next contest.
DJDoubleB - Your entries were indeed strong, but there are some nitpicks. Vision was nice and simple, but the coat could use some stickers or so just to make it pop more. Everything on his head and face was amazing though. The futuristic guy was great too, but it could use more tweaking. The head is futuristic but the rest is just kinda mix and match. However, the color choices kinda saved you a little. The lady had potential, but the boots were screaming "I'm a bright color." And that's why you became eliminated. Take heed though, you had nice CAS worth looking at.
HolyCarp - I like Callyn and Faust, but today they were outshined by other CAS. They were unique in their own right, but they were lacking some "boom factor". Perhaps playing with a bit more colors could help.
Mistakoo - Your pirate wasn't to my liking. It was cool yet gaudy. She had a nice hat though. Your cowgirl? Very innovative and creative. I actually love it because it makes me think anime tits gone wrong. Boing! However, it didn't captivate any more than the thinking outside the box. Where it captivates was the part where you went fanservicey which swooned me, yet breast implants don't seduce Pocky Yoshi however. When it comes to ladies, they gotta look natural.

Why?
Before you just say, "Because it's just Gatsu. 'Nuff said." This was no easy picking. Mistakoo's Cowgirl with the breast implants was thinking outside the box, ThePascuzzi's female CAS had a great outfit yet the lady wearing it looked rather meh, rdmunhoz was stunning despite the straight forward approach. Everyone else is like my entries, they were just there sitting pretty below these.
But Gatsu had worthy rivals. In this contest, chobek(who won by landslide on votes), ThePascuzzi, Mistakoo, and rdmunhoz gave him trouble.
When I finally came down to the final two, it was between Mistakoo and Gatsu. What made me choose the Priest over cowgirl wasn't just because it was Gatsu, it was a priest that looked natural. Mistakoo's unique cowgirl imho made it hard for me, but it only lost because I've seen cowgirls more than say...a priest.

That's racist. Wait, no, that's racist and age-ist! And maybe a little bit sexist, too! You all-around hatemonger!
But no, really, I have reasons for making the character model the way it is. The Celia character started out as a genderbend of another original character, so it wouldn't really make sense in my mind to make the character model stray too far from the source material. I dunno. Maybe I'll go make some Euro-friends for the original pair and see how that works out.
Anyway, I was totally gunning for a JRPG-ized ceremonial/old world-style western military uniform aesthetic, so I'm pretty happy to have my design compared to something out of Full Metal Alchemist. It's my favorite type of outfit to design, so I'm happy that it was successful.
Oh, and for the record, raven-haired beauties totally get my engine revving more than blondes, brunettes, and red-heads. We'll just have to agree to disagree about our taste in
Overall, I'm honestly a little salty about my results, but in the end, I made a CaS I like and that's more than enough of a reward for any entrant, so thanks are definitely in order. Thank you, Pocky-Yoshi, for the competition and judging, thanks to Donutman for the part choice, and congratulations and a job well done to all the entrants. I can't wait to see what the next part will be.

It's a pure ring on each eye. Just make them in oval shapes with the pointy end sticking out :)

I've thinked it was pure rings, but the shape was strange... you caught perfectly these two little little circle holes in mask eyes, good accurate job dude
I like that, i will remember it if/when i do another Yoshi 3p for the temple :D
