There really is no easy way around Asta with Kilik. Command grabs + Bullrush = GG.

the transition back to online IS tough isn't it? lol ... you're better for it though ... it jus sux when u have to take lag back into account ... when you keep switching between offline and online your timing has to keep adjusting

Kowtow I hate to break it to you but people have used MM's to settle shit talking FOREVER... The whole idea is there are no excuses when you lose because some people will make them till the end of time. Thats how its been done with every community but VF and thats because the community doesnt generate internet shit talking. I don't see it that way man. You're showing up to compete, so just compete. Why should you need extra motivation to compete with someone? To me the whole thing just seems like a total show of disrespect, and people in FG's have just been accepting this as no big deal for years now.

I understand when someone like Tim and Serge go at it, they say they don't mean any disrespect by it, but the whole idea of it just bothers me. So if you want to play me, just play me. If you (not you specifically but people, I mean) don't want to play me unless there's money involved, that's disrespectful and I'll treat it as such.

Kowtow-I totally understand what you're saying but the situation you seem to describe is for individuals who will ONLY play someone else if its a MM. Personally I think thats pretty lame. there are plenty of people who play in both a casual and MM setting.

But the cool thing about MM is that because money is on the line its almost insurance that your opponent is going to play serious. And if they don't give it their all thats money their throwing down the drain. Personally, i love MMing people better than me because i know they sandbag a lot during casuals lol. Which is why people hold tournaments to prove who the best. Because lets be serious casuals prove nothing.....

Me I will gladly take your money (Muahhahaaaaaa). I will be rich by the end of the night. Let's see tournament winnings, money match winnings, damn with that kind of money on the side you will see me at almost every major tourney there is.

Like I said I go first because it's fun. I have a thirst for competition and it's fun. You meet new people both good and bad, but it's interesting to say the least. Second I go with the idea that the expenses I paid to get down there are somehow made back. Either way it's all in good fun to me. I hold no grudge's and I will play anyone anyway.

i like MM's as much as the next guy but not if theres any drama attached to it. i mean you play win/lose, get paid/pay the man and thats it. if its about anything else other than that (ie 'settling a score') then what difference does the stupid $5 or $10 make?
