Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

it's DAGGERMOWF. he still mad about it. too. good thing he's not the host of the lobby i'm in. he might kick me out. :3

That guy seemed like a massive whining scrub and a lot of people were lagging badly in the big tag room. Reminds me why I hate playing online at times. I don't think Kokoro was touched so you're going to have to wait for the next patch dude whenever that may be. This was mostly a "fix" patch as opposed to a straight-up balance patch. At least Rachel got brought back down to earth.

As for the patch there were a lot of nice little fixes and the new Lorelei stage is pretty darn huge! The stage was pretty much a no-brainer to bring back. So awesome. Can't wait to try out some of the Halloween costumes on it.

Kasumi needs this costume. Seriously.

So they fixed Momiji's 66PP. Although it was always throw punishable, you couldn't because of the pushback.

Aside from that, I'm cool with the changes.

What we need is a Ninja Gaiden DLC set for all of the characters who don't have all of their NG costumes.

I concur. Though Hayabusa seems pretty much set. I suspect that TN is going to gradually release all the NG costumes down the line. For instance, Rachel just got one of her NGS2+ outfits in the Halloween pack.

Still waiting for Ayane's NGS2 Phantom Butterfly outfit *crosses fingers*

soooo... any buffs to Kokoro at all? or is she just doomed?

No, only characters that recieved actual balance changes are Rachel, Momiji and Alpha-152. It's much MUCH too soon for the entire cast to recieve a balance patch right now.

And honestly, some of the things Rachel received are kind of...stupid (no I do not play Rachel). Everyone's (talking competitive players here) main concern was the ground hit whiffing and she still retaining massive advantage. Now her ground hit is treated as everyone else's, as it should be.

MY other concern is that Rachel's PPT should not be an offensive hold, it should be a regular throw. It is difficult enough to see as it is, actually reacting to it (even if incorrectly) and getting caught on Hi Counter Hold is ridiculous. Rache's strings are literally ending at all 3 hit levels, viably, coupled with an Offensive Hold. Silliness.

I feel as though the whiff being where it is now (as it should have been in the first place), and the PPT being changed to a regular throw are all she needed changed (PPT is an OH but I am just stating how it shouldn't be one). All of her other "nerfs" are unnecessary, to be honest. Because she's not breaking the game, nor are her match ups all positive for her either.

Rachel is only scary "if" the vortex starts. Other than this, she's just another good character.

I definitely approve of this "fix", because a character like Ayane couldn't throw punish Momiji's 66PP with an i7 throw. But other's like Genfu, Helena and Christie all can (with an i7 throw).

I wonder if Hajin will be using Ayane's new ability to swim to the moon in mid air.

O_O I think Kokoro played a little too much Beyond: Two Souls and decided that it's okay to use her powers. and i'm thinking that Kokoro decides to use ayane for all her abilities.

P.S. that kokoro playing made me cry a little.

Kokoro getting revenge on Team Ninja for nerfing her to hell so now she breaks the game? here is a previous encounter with issues if people dont' know what i'm referring to.

That's my fav Kokoro costume, I use it all the time playing as her. <3

HAHAHAH!! Ascending into the great beyond! Abducted by Team Ninja Aliens!

Lots of glitches I discovered last night on Lorelai, best ban the stage until they fix it.

Also, I don't see why Rachel gets an OH while Kokoro doesn't. Kokoro has far fewer offensive options over Rachel.
