An Experiment: Stuff you want to see in SC6 that IS NOT from Past Games/Guest Chars/Unrealistic

Everyone of us have many cool ideas for a game which it was and it is awesome! But nothing is happening... I guess that it's time to create an official petition on facebook and generally on social media for SC6! It's hard to believe that this game series dies! It's been 4 years since SC5 release! HEYYYY NAMCOOOOOO are you listen us???!!!!!

This series isn't dead.
If we don't get an announcement this year, then i'll be worried.
For now i'm hoping for E3, which is exactly 3 months from today.

My only hope is E3 2016 for an announcement! If we don't get an announcement this year, then everyone will be worried...

I figured I'd try this out. It's all too easy to simply yell "I WANT MY OLD CHARACTERS BACK" like we've done a million times. Here we go:

- More in-depth CAS mode. Details here (that's not me, by the way).

- W/L ratio shouldn't be displayed on screen, instead you'd have to look in your own personal records. This would incite less rage quitting.

- Speaking of rage quits, make it a punishment when someone quits. For example, quitting multiple times will get a player temporarily banned from ranked matches. If one continues, their title will be changed to "Mewling Child" until after a period where the player stops rage-quitting.

- Online rooms should have filters for the kinds of characters that can be used, so people don't have to make "Customs only" titled rooms. Those settings would "All", "Original", "Custom", "Custom-Original", "Original + Custom-Original", and "Custom + Custom-Original". Setting it to "Original" would force everyone to only use original characters, while setting it to "Custom" would only allow CAS characters, and "Custom-Original" would allow customized variations of original characters.

- The ability to set the language to each individual character, like Street Fighter. For example, having Ivy in English and Taki in Japanese.

- While I'm not completely against having equipment destruction, allow us in CAS to set a certain amount of pieces to be unbreakable. That way your character will look like they came out of a battle rather than that they simply lost their clothes.

- A tournament mode complete with a bracket. This would be very useful for meet-ups, but also a public mode would be cool.

- As for new characters, see here.

Intros ala MKX and Injustice 2 would be really cool i think. Characters lines and dialogues would depend on who's the opponent.

What about created characters? I guess generic voice lines will do.

You mean the player would customize his own dialogue for the character he made? Why not but could be tough to do, also giving too much freedom like this could create another very huge issue, some people can use this for any kind of "not allowed" thing (insulting, racismes or such purpose), and that would give big a problem for Bandai Namco to deal with (censur this censur that and cie, so basically more work to do, that in the end won't be that necessary). They could integrate more dialogues than there are in SCV and it could do it, but tbh it's not something i'm looking for, just seeing characters speak with each others with different possibilities would be cool imo, so the SC universe would feel real and coherent overall (and cool thing is for once you won't skip the intro of the character cause you don't know what he's gonna say, a fun and interesting aspect for a FG imo). This is one of the best thing that MKX did imho.

No, players would not create their own voice lines. Created character would either have a generic voice line or stay silent until the match starts.

If someone rage quits they should get a 24hr ban from online matches.

(Not to be confused with the game lagging out of course)

As well as a symbol of shame for some predetermined amount of time.

Player match should have a preference setting not to allow players with the aforementioned symbol to join.

To those reading out of self interest
Since I'm bored and somehow in the mood to think creatively I just want to get things off my chest.

My beef with SC5 and SC2

To start off, SC5 feels really restrictive. Take for example stepping, it's -20 frames after any step except forward so when you want to execute right after step you have the cool down period to wait right after. When you get pinned to the ground and tried to get up at the same time trying to block an incoming low sweep you can't block that low sweep; you eat it and fall right back down again; it feels sorta like SC4 online. SC2 is the opposite to the restrictiveness SC5 has, but it's too free.

franman's proposed resolution
I figure that maybe SC6 should have a middle ground between SC5 and SC2; that is it shouldn't be too restrictive as well as too free. How? by re-implementing Soul Gauge. What for? Frame recovery. You can play in some of SC5's restrictive frame settings but at the same time disrespecting it by using some elements of SC2 to break away from the restriction, but at the expense of some Soul Gauge meter.
