I don't want to think that "it's cool if they take their time, we can wait blabla", no, we've waited so much time. I want it as soon as possible, without "rushing period" or things like that; they made several mistakes with SCV, now they have to adapt. It's almost been 6 years tho.
Yeah, and if it released in a state like SFV did after the reception SCV got, the series would end up dead.

The heart desires a release before Evo so it can have a presence at the worlds largest fighting game tournament, but I also don’t want it to be released before it’s ready a la Street Fighter V...

I’ll throw my hat in with the, “it will be a Fall/Winter release,” group.
I'm fine with it missing Evo actually. Since if it's added to the lineup in 2019 instead it'll keep people invested longer than getting picked up early, then immediately dropped like SCV which caused people to flake en masse.

I just want the game to play very good and won't have a weird a$$ character roster.

Don't have much expectation about Story mode, but if they can blown my mind in that matter in a good way, that would be super welcome.

It’s okay that no one answered my question you fake ass bitches

Jk but seriously what do you y’all think we’re looking at for a release date

I stan by what I said before - at least 9 months from now. This game is a baby that needs three full trimesters of love and support before it comes out.

Anyone else think SC6 is gonna have a season pass?
Personally, I wouldn't really mind this, so long as it's actually worth it unlike some season passes I've seen. That said, I doubt it at the same time. If you think about it, it would be potentially a good or bad thing depending how it was done. SCV being our main installment to look at for that, it had a decent system for how DLC was released, but they never released everything they likely had planned, and never confirmed some of what was found or assumed would happen. A season pass covering perhaps a decent amount of content like SCV had would be fine with me, in part because then we'd at least be certain we're getting all of what it's meant to include. But I might be of an unpopular opinion in that way of thinking. I'd just personally like to see it release and do amazing, and then add more after the fact to keep making it better. Plenty of ways that could be done, though.

Just a thought btw, but would anyone else want to see an online practice/training mode? I figure for people who would like to learn/improve and those who teach their friends and/or random people who ask, it would be a great option. Maybe include room for spectator slots that can switch out in case of need for active demonstration of match-ups and practical use, etc. Something I'd love to see personally, since me and my friends used to teach each other various characters.

It would be very cool ! I don't remember seeing a "mode" like that in a game before? Anyways, that's a good idea.

1. The weapon have the blessing, not Sophitia herself, so the logical assumption is that Cassandra likewise got her immediate skills from that, since she went on a journey with the holy weapon first.
2. Raphael has no canonical victories, so he's not a good measuring stick in the slightest.
3. Raphael was attempting to rob her mid-battle and succeeded.

Finally:

Not so much a real victory as her managing to barely scratch him(but since she has natural purifying abilities, it actually stung him pretty badly).

I would not put any value into anything put in the soul calibur wiki site. I have no idea who runs it but some of the content there has no basis in factual context.

In the translated NLPS book where they describe the history of the series, it was stated that Raphael defeated Nightmare outright clean. Even I don't believe this, since it always took a team effort (or Siegfried with soul calibur) to beat him. This just goes to show that even the writers may change things around as time progresses.

Landing a blow, where the opponent sneers immediately after does not equate to "defeating".

What do you guys think the pre-order bonus will be? I'm thinking if they did like a revamped version of the SC5 pre-order costumes it'd be cool, but actually make them look good this time lol
