They've said from the start they don't expect it to be used by pros much.

They delayed it because whatever they were doing wasn't working so they had to go back to the drawing board.
 
Well then is one true Nekilik, early to say something but at moment was the player that played very well. we will have a demo to PC?
 
I'm wondering if Evil Seed Kilik will be the only super-form soul charge (with a drawback) or will other characters like Zasalamel have that as well ?

I wonder will he be the only changed super in Soul Charge.
I feel like its gonna play into the story.

I predict that someone is going to have some crazy shit off of soul charge like, Astaroth's will be built in super armor and power through hits or Tira's hits while soul charged will poison you like F.A.N.G. from SF... mmmmm... possibilities...
 
Didn’t some manga or other source state that blond Maxi is supposed to be from a power-up? Maybe that’ll be his soul charge. I mean blue is the new thing now...

Not!Nightmare/Siegfried could be powered up by Soul Calibur if that is going to be a thing.

I doubt the manga is canon, also, if this is based mostly on SC1 and SC2, we're unlikely to see Siegfried with Soul Calibur. At best he'll use Requiem.

Indeed, we get character reveal last Thursday of a month since 2 months : January 25th (Thursday) : Kilik, Xianghua, Nightmare and Groh. February 22nd (Thursday) : Ivy and Zasalamel. Geralt was the exception in March, being confirmed mid-March, but it doesn't count maybe due to his guest statut. So next reveal can come as of March, 29th, since it's a Thursday. I imagine just one SC veteran (or newcomer) to be announced. What about you ?

I noticed the same thing and was wondering as to why they didnt use not once? obviously may be not familiar with it but definitely a tell tale sign on the overlook in high skill game play. The slowing down isnt a thing thats liked in an intense battle. Definitely a catering for the the new comers i really dont see this machanic being used that much in high skill fights. Me personally im not trying to interfere with time while im digging in your ass and give you a moment to think.

At 20:49 Partywolf used it, but X managed to evade the RE attack.
 
I think Kilik might be the only one with a fancy Soul Charge, while Zas does it by bringing the opponent closer upon activation, I think something as drastic as Kilik's won't be common place.

For example, Tira will probably give her a 100% chance change persona, but won't have other lasting effects.
