Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Do you remember there are 12 stages availables on the "select stage screen" ? So, we have currently 6 stages shown (2 in the actual build).

- Eurydice Shrine
- Snowy stage
- Burning Cathedral
- Proving Grounds
- Indian Port
- Geralt's stage

So, which stages are you expecting ? IMO, I think Ostrheinburg will be present. We need a japanese temple-like stage and a chinese's too. If Venice's stage from SC1 can return too, it would be awesome.
 
That long, rectangular stage that had red pillars and was set in a Japanese temple or castle or something (Setsuka’s stage from 3?) would be awesome to see in 6.
 
Valentine Mansion will probably show up in some form.


Fu-Ma Clan something is not impossible.


I would love to see the clock tower back too.

Jyurakudai Villa was my favorite stage from Soulcalibur IV. I hope that it's included in SCVI.
 
The music for Nightmare's and Gross's reveal hint at further stages. To be fair, Gross's sounds a little epic for a stage theme. The one for Kilik and Xianghua barely reminded me of The New Legend.

One thing that I really hope we get is a lot of diverse stages. So far they've done a really good job I think. I was rewatching the Taki trailer and I noticed how cool Indian Port is this time around. One side has a wall and another has half a breakable wall/half RO.

The game is just looking sooooo pretty so far lol

Random thought that the glowing moonrunes on Taki are decidedly un-ninjalike, but she's arguably more of an onmyouji than an assassin according to her plot. No, not that kind. Makes me wonder if customs get those too like Kilik's transformation.
 
I think Ostrheinsburg will likely return as it's had a stage in every game except 5. I suspect we'll get a stage on a raft so maybe we'll see the Battlements stage return, or the water labyrinth if Yoshi makes it in. I wouldn't mind seeing Lost Cathedral, as well. Though i do hope we'll get something completely new for Grohs Dads Stage. Is it likely that we'll get more stages post-launch alongside the DLC characters?

Sigh that feeling you get when you know it's likely that we ain't getting any new info revealed till June :/
 
All I know is, the Ostrheinsburg stage better have a remix of In The Name of Father (Nightmare theme), just like they remixed Wings of Faith for Eurydice Shrine.

 
If Talim makes it in without Mina and Yunseong her story would need to be rewritten a bit. I know Verge said she is in but I'm feeling nervous about it again.
 
@Party Wolf If I may ask how does the reversal edge mechanic feel to you? Does it feel right or a bit off in terms of how now its a rock, paper, scissors, etc.

So I’m thinking that if the stages have two reps in most cases, I’ll guess:

Eurydice: Sophitia and Cassandra
Snowy: Talim and Groh (I doubt his music is a stage theme since it sounds more cinematic than the others)
Burning Cathedral: Zas and Tira
Proving Grounds: Kilik and Xianghua
Indian Port: Maxi and Cervantes (I'm sure that's the Adrian in the background)
Orstreinsburg?: Siegfried and Nightmare (Tira is also a possibility)
Japanese Stage?: Mitsurugi and Taki

Geralt and the boss have their own stage.

Just no more Trippy Towers or Astral Chaos. One is enough.
