Also, it looks as if the US Collector's Edition ($150 with artbook and statue) does not include the season pass. The deluxe edition ($100) does. This might change, but this is what Namco-Bandai did with DBFZ.

im hoping the 3 characters are brand spanking new. 3 dlc characters is a shocker though. considering its only 3. like if they did 8 i would expect 4 new and 4 old but revamped characters.
but October 19th! so glad somebody put a counter up on this site.
in the future we'll get breakdown for prices and stuff. like buying individual characters and packs.

I have never smashed a pre-order button as fast as I can. At least we have a release date, regardless of the fact that it comes out the same day as Battlefield V, close to Red Dead Redemption 2, and 17 days after Assassin's Creed Odyssey...but I digress. I am glad about that it's coming out less than a year than when it was announced, and we don't have to wait any longer to play it. Barring sudden delays of course.

So if Xianglian and Kyem appear outside of the drawn cutscenes, I guess that confirms some CaS parts as well as young Siegfried’s.

Well, I'm a little disappointed but slightly satisfied because of Olivia's tweet.
I love the new look of the game, from the UI to the music and interface. It is super well polished.
With Inferno, Lizard, Talim, Cervantes, and Astaroth, what does our character list look like?

Aww man, I wanted to see the CaS trailer at E3. Guess it will just show up randomly on a Thursday.
As far as DLC goes, they really should just let them all be guest characters (Cloud, 2B, etc.) Let the cast characters be unlockable ingame.

And all the stages are revealed. Just wish there were two more. None suit Ivy or Voldo. My current guess w/ Kunpateku shown is:
Eurydice: Alexandra sisters

I know this will sound a little hilarious coming from me but....... why are so many people convinced Amy is DLC?
Like seriously, I love her to pieces and want her in the game more than anything but I category DO NOT THINK she will even appear as a simple cutscene in Raphael's part of the story (assuming HE even makes it in).
I mean maybe that's just my uber emo pessimism but I don't see why people are so confident that she'll make it. Especially since Viola seems the more popular (and unique) playstyle, and even our lord and saviour Verge has said she will most likely be replaced with Viola from now on.
I dunno, I wish I could be as confident as you guys. I really hope I'm wrong and you're right on this one.
I laughed as I re-read my Talim post because I looked so butthurt by it XD Fact is I don't play or even like her that much. I just felt like this was literally the BEST day they could've chosen to reveal her and they went and f*cked up, lol. Also really bummed for the Talim fans but honestly with the teasing they're doing with her I think she's 99% likely to be in the game. Unless they're all massive trolls, which is still possible...
As for the other awesome things. Story Mode looks GREAT. Almost like a fusion of Tales of Souls (the ability to choose individual character's) and Soulcalibur V's story mode. I'm interested to see exactly how that timeline will play out as a gameplay mechanic but either way it's looking really interesting and a big step up from V.
It's so weird that they soft-revealed Cervantes, Astaroth and Lizardman though. Cervy and Asty aren't much of a surprise because they're important to the SC story but I'm surprised their reveals weren't more epic or at least in character trailer form (though I'm sure we'll get those eventually). And then there's Lizardman just thrown in there like "hey, you didn't want me, but here I am anyway!" XD As long as his AI isn't as annoying as it was in V, I'm fine I guess. I'm actually glad to see him with a sword and shield since that's his original style (even if it IS a slightly overused weapon combo). I'm sure they'll find a way to utilize it differently. I like the theory someone had about him gaining Patroklos's fighting style. It would maybe need a lot of tweaking to make him see less human in his animations but it could be a good mix.
Most people hated Sieg's new costume and honestly I wasn't a huge fan but what bothered me more was that his face looks NOTHING like his artwork, to the point of actually being annoying. He's fugly as hell in-game and I hope he's one of the next to get a face lift. And he had long hair, when we all know he had short hair in the original SC. Seeing the short hair but new costume in the trailer was a tad confusing and I wonder why that wasn't how his 1P looked to begin with.
I still feel like the roster's a little small and we DEFINITELY need more stages (although the current stages are gorgeous). Speaking of, could someone timestamp the Asta/Lizzy stage? I can't for the life of me spot it, lol.
19th October feels so far, far away... but at least now I have a solid date to look forward and count down to :)

She could fight at the Egyptian stage. And she’s definitely not dressed for the ice cave.
Mi-Na does tend to get the most nonsensical stages for her.
Also Lizzy could just be a generic enemy with one of the Alexandras’ fighting styles.
