Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

Sophitia SC IV was weird, I know what they wanted to do there, it was very Atlantis' warrior, but it didn't feel very in character. As far as quality of costume goes, III had the best 2Ps in the series.

I prefer Setsuka SCIII costume over IV, I think the full Kimono works better than the sleeve off one, it feels like a bigger contrast with Mitsurugi which is the character she is a foil too.

I don't think SCIV costume are that bad, it probably has the best Cassandra, Raphael, Yun-Seaong 1Ps.
 
They should reveal someone kind of meh today so everyone is down and bleh then go big at EVO and get max levels of hype.

Can't wait for all the EVO reveals. After last year I think companies will only want to outdo that.

No it's not. There's a reason only like seven people are even active on the boards at this point. You've scared away all the normal people by posting several pages worth of essays on anime fashion and weird Tumblr gifs.

I get that you're thirsty for new content, we all are, but when Party Wolf or Great One or whomever actually posts about the game it usually goes ignored, buried among walls of text on shit no one cares about. Make a thread for costume discussion or some shit.

This thread has been cancer for like the past 7 months lol and it will continue to be cancer until the game releases. It's just how it goes. It has inevitably been spiraling into a shitpost mess. But that's to be expected when there's no news and the game will be out in about 3 months.

In my experience this general board is no different than other general boards in other fandoms. A containment board such as this is actually healthy for a website as not only everybody is talking about the little details with other people who are like minded on the subject but when some actual worthy content comes around we're all here to have a good natter about it. The only problem that ever stems from general boards like this is when people target one another which usually means a moderator has to step in to cool the situation down but overall it's a good board here and I do reagulally come in this board specifically to read all your opinions and ramblings. :P

I wouldn't worry about scaring off normies, they're usually just on fandom sites for a short time anyway and usually only drop in when actual new content is available.
