Well Setsuka was my third pick after Aeon and a Korean swordboi. Since I was able to vote for all three of those with one vote, it kind of opened my other two for Setsuka and Hilde.

From what I see, there are more Cassandra fans than there are Setsuka fans but for those who aren't Cassandra fans, they would much rather see Setsuka than Cassandra especially since Setsuka has a unique moveset. Because Sophitia is around, I would much rather see Setsuka over Cassandra in this game.
Since we could vote for three, anyone who isn't voting for Cassandra are likely to vote for Setsuka.

Well if Project Soul decides to take this poll as an example of what people want I don't want anyone complaining when three of the future dlc characters are Hwang, Yun-Seong, and Lizardman.

Clearly it's going to be Hwang, Aeon, and a Guest character lol. This is because Hwang and Aeon could not make the launch roster and we're likely going to be looking at four empty slots when the game comes out due to the game being once again rushed for release.

My current votes are Hw/Ae/Yun (because they are together), Setsuka and... ZWEI (I really like that wolf-ghost-stand thing and his 2P is good for CaS).
If those three would be ungrouped, I guess I would vote Hwang (sorry Aeon; not sorry Yunsung), Setsuka, ZWEI. Next ones in the line are Hilde and Aeon (twin axed dragon one, but with crawl stance).

There is no clarity. We have no idea if hwang was ever intended to be on the roster, same with aeon

Well if you say that then how do they make new characters?
They take them from SCIV-V of course and then modify them. Ask @Frayhua maybe. With all his knowledge and attention to detail it would be nice if he could write some FAQs.

I think it's for that reason that he's relatively unexpected, and that's why his reveal would come as a surprise. We thought the stress sweat was for Raphael, but it was actually for Hwang. Lizardman and Cervantes sharing the next reveal would put the right pieces into place.

Perhaps there will be a bonus mode that is basically Project Souls own little CaS corner for named NPCs from story mode.

This would be based on the leak that mentioned Azwel. Hwang and Lizardman were mentioned in that leak and later removed. It can easily be assumed that they are either part of the roster or cancelled. But why waste in-progress work when they could be DLC so that is why I'm going to assume they're DLC characters.

I'm assuming the leaker saw their names but did not originally understand the context as to why they were there. As Cassandra is also in the game's files.

But that leaker never specified Cassandra on the roster though right? I dont think we are getting Hwang or Cass but the only thing that bugs me about it is we are getting neither Hwang OR Yun and that seems unlikely. Doesnt a great amount of Mina's backstory revolve around those two? I really doubt PS would just completely ignore the Dao in general.
