Well if Geralt is CASable, i suppose that means it will be the same for any future guests as well so long as their movelist isn't over complicated.

All of this is why I believe:
Code:
     Hwang Siegfried Zasalamel Nightmare Azwel
     Xianghua Maxi Sophitia Astaroth Ivy
     Yoshimitsu Kilik Inferno Grøh Cervantes
DLC Talim Mitsurugi Geralt Taki Lizardman DLC
DLC CaS Seong Mi-na Raphael Voldo Random Tira

I really agree with your roster @DanteSC3! I have the same expectations with you plus that I'm still thinking that they'll add a new female character in the roster! BTW this character select roster will be amazing if the other DLC characters are Setsuka, Hilde and Cassandra or Rock!

True, i could see why companies would have an issue with it and frankly i was surprised to learn Geralt was CASable.
Apparently Geralt's IP owners realize pissing people off is perhaps not the best strategy to promote their product as unCaSable guests accomplish nothing else with those who love CaS.

Maybe but it doesn't promote their game if swarms of custom Geralts are all anyone ever encounters. I'm of course referring mostly to online interactions. I suppose the fact that Geralt plays an important role in both story modes might be the major reason they were ok with it. That means no matter what, when people play the game, they will encounter the real Geralt quite a bit. Future guests i'm assuming will not be connected in any way to the story so maybe that will discourage them from allowing CAS versions of their character.

BS, a generic Jedi draws as much attention to the Star Wars IP as the Apprentice does, or any other Jedi or Sith. Like anyone in this age doesn't know what a fricken Jedi or Sith is. The only thing anyone really knows from their inclusion in 4 is that they couldn't make their own Jedi or Sith and that they felt really out of place, and Yoda's size was annoying.

Right but that is because those are lightsabers though, with sound effects. So that would still promote Star Wars, i'll give you that but lets consider Ezio for example. Remove the outfit and put the weapons on a female, do people immediately recognize that character as being from Assassin's Creed? Same with Geralt, he just looks like a generic sword mage i've seen countless times on various games, comics, shows, whatever. If not for the face, appearance and voice most people wouldn't have a clue who that is i think, especially if they haven't already played the Witcher series.

This was posted before the SCVI list was posted.

Whoever made that image, guarantee they read my posts and used my positioning. I'm around on here and reddit and championed those positions enough times while trying to actually stick to the rivalries theory and having faith in Hwang and Lizardman while hardly no one else did, it's almost impossible that they didn't get this layout from me.

without a doubt it's copied from you. I'm almost certain I've seen you on reddit as well

I honestly still believe that the character select screen will be rearranged, particularly the bottom row. I still believe that the Creation and Random select buttons will be swapped with the blank circles on the sides next to them. It looks very disorderly or unsorted to have characters isolated and disconnected from other characters. I'm sure this can trigger OCD for some players.

I doubt it, if they add another DLC character to each side, above each slot that's there now, it will reunite the characters all touching each other. Or, if the other supposition is true, and each side is a DLC character button, one for 1p and one for 2p, then it makes sense that they're segregated. I feel like, if they were going to move them, they would have done it for the build that contains Raphael and Cervantes.

But if they did that in the build with Raphael and Cervantes then the Creation and Random select buttons would be isolated for no good reason. In comparison, the character select screen in Tekken 7 was rearranged a few times and again when Season 2 came out where Namco arranged and moved the DLC characters on top of the screen. I wouldn't be surprised if Project Soul rearranges the select screen in SoulCalibur VI when the game comes out or when more DLC are announced.
If needed, Namco can always resize and even redesign something as simple as a character select screen to accommodate for more characters or to just make it more orderly.

well then

I'm going to copy and paste something from @Norik

you guys want a spicy conspiracy theory?
there are a total of 149 weapons according to the most recent trailer
and seven weapons per character
21 characters (including tira) * 7 weapons = 147
plus two weapons which would easily be soul edge/calibur variants(edited)
all makes sense
BUT
Amusingly enough, if Azwel and Geralt each get one weapon only, that would leave room for 14 more weapons, or exactly two characters.

(Geralt's style is available in CaS, so if projekt cd is cool with that then they're probably also cool with extra weapons for him. It's just an amusing coincidence).

I do not endorse this statement. But I felt you guys would like it
