DLC Theory: Stone *is* Rock

True. With that in mind, I wish there were more NA elements in his design rather than just animal pelts. Like some actual clothing. That'd certainly make him more interesting to look at imo.
 
i hope if rock comes back they really do make his face look younger and better. some of the SC1 art is actually cool!

Fine, you know what? I concede -- Stone is Rock.

But that doesn't mean he's in the game. Just like the other coded characters that aren't making it. It was just some leftover, likely when they were considering everyone, and then settled on the four we're getting.

Can we move on now?
 
Rock might not get in season two. It doesn't seem likely. It's also not impossible. But if he isn't, but we do get a season three, he's easily able to be included.

I can't see him there. It's just a hard sell, that's what I'm saying. What I've been saying this entire time. DLC characters have to sell and I can't see what merits Rock has to make him DLC.

This has gone way out of proportion.
 
They at least considered him at some point, we can surely agree on that much. There just isn’t anyone else who STONE could practically be, aside from Rock. Maybe you’re right, maybe they had a committee and decided against Rock for season two because he wouldn’t be profitable. That being true, the season three is really only going to be sold to the highest profile fans, not the general public. So it would be a more ideal stage for veterans like Rock, who is being included as a matter of good will to the fans, not to purely turn a profit. That’s what I’ve been saying, at least. Same goes for Hwang and Aeon. The three of them going for a legacy bundle appeal really does seem like good marketing for a long term fan.
 
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they re-released SCVI with all the DLC + extras like how SFV has Champion Edition. It makes too much sense of refresh the game and get more sales that way. Just call it a hunch, and don't be surprised.
