What kind of characters would you like to see in future SC games?

In addition of my previous post, i'll add:

So i googled Barbarian Woman, and found some interesting concepts, here one:

I'd be down with something like that, don't know about the weapon tho.


An Aztech warrior would be cool too, didn't found something that stick too much, they would look quite generic, they to find a way to amke something even cooler than Kotal Khan and has a little of Ogre on him maybe? I found cool concepts for both male and females, but i think they should go for Male on this one?

Rock will be the white skinned gay barbarian when he's readded as DLC. The leaker was just colorblind and thought the dark skinned lesbian was a woman.
 
I could be wrong, but i don't feel Rock has high chance to come back, but who knows.

He may get the Bruce treatment that was replaced by Josie, maybe that Barbarian woman will take some of his moves if she end to be a real thing. Personally speaking i though he was fun to play in SC3 and i liked his design (but welp beside Abyss i actually though everyone was cool and fun in SC3)

Project Soul doesn't have the budget to do new character and a guest character at the same time.....

Everytime we think they have improved or gotten a bigger budget we were proven wrong. This is a small team that can't handle developing more than one classic character at a time, let alone a brand new guest character.
 
An anthro fox male that uses stealthy sneak attacks, I'm curious what the Soul creators could do with that; I'd like to see them try other animal species instead of just lizards :D
 
I think the era of animal/creature characters are over unless they are a classic/returning character for soulcal.

Simply due to the fact that they could probably add animal stuff to Creation for those who want it.

Both Rock and Yun Seong already have their 3D models done by SC4 so it could "save some work" if those 2 come in. Setsuka unquestionably will drive more sales.

Rock needs a massive overhaul in movelist because he's almost without exception the "less cool astaroth".

I don't feel Rock has high chances mostly because he doesn't seem to popular, but personally speaking i think it would be cool to have him back, specially if they plan to overhaul him as you said.

I'm seeing 2 possible scenarios, either they brought back Rock, or replace him with the Black Barbarian woman.
 
The thing about Rock is that he was in every game except for SoulCalibur V before now, and it's still a bit wild that he didn't make SoulCalibur V, because even Aeon did, albeit having stolen Kratos's moveset. Rock could have stolen Vader's or something, I dunno, if they were so intent on doing that. Hwang even stole Devil Jin's style in Quick Battle. So I don't get the "he's unpopular" angle so much, since even the popular folks didn't make it into SoulCalibur V, so that doesn't necessarily say much by itself. Though that being said, if Hwang and Li Long had made it into SoulCalibur IV like Amy, then Hwang could have claimed the same thing, and yes I'm counting Berserker/Assassin/Lizardman as Rock/Hwang/Aeon, even if that's not technically accurate. But if they did make the decision to cut out the "unpopular" characters Hwang and Li Long, then Rock should have been cut for SoulCalibur IV too, but he was not.

I still feel pretty strongly about Aeon and Rock being saved for season three. Hwang being in season two lets Yun-seong be in season three and yet not having both Korean swordies in the same pass, which some may gripe about. Hwang already has a teaser for his story in Seong Mi-na's story, as well as Libra of Soul, while Aeon also has this in Astaroth's story and Libra of Soul as well. Rock has just a mention in Astaroth's bio, but Aeon's story could/should involve his kidnapping of Bangoo, which would then give Rock an in, so Aeon would come first, then Rock would come after getting his hook.
