Block Spamming? wtf?

Okay...so...I had to laugh at this to the point I felt I needed to post about it. And I know other people have gotten it to. Anyway, so I'm playing some kid (I don't think its necessary to say the name cuz i doubt the person comes on sites...hopefully) and I pick yoshi...and I beat him 3-0. Then i pick yoshi again...and 3-0 again. So I get a message from him saying "Stop spamming block and yoshi." So... I say to myself, "Who is this bitch?!?!? Am I not allowed to block? Not everyone can warble the competition...." and then I decided ..fuck it...I'm gonna warble his ass. So I picked random and decided I WOULD NOT BLOCK the entire match...only parry (and attack AFTER a parry). And needless to say the god's of Warbleton came to my aid and random gave me.. ... YOSHI. And I ended up kicking his ass without blocking and only attacking after a successful parry...ummm 3-0 me. So obviously the kid leaves. I then send him a message saying that i guess I'm just better than him and saying I can't block is pretty funny. So he says "well your still black." I assumed that was a veiled attempt at callin me the N word... a fuckin white ass basketball playing videogame playing kid from a nice area of california being called the N word...for blocking?

so who else has been called a cheater for not letting someone win?

I'm sorry, you have not yet reached the level of warble, because warble would not have attacked at all. Instead warble would have gone for the 5 JI into CF.

I've been accused of being a scrub because I BB's some one to death for 3 rounds and won.

But yeah, the best course of action is obviously just ignore messages from people like him. Or play less online.
 
o no... I didn't care that he sent it. It actually made me smile a little to see something sent that was so silly. And yes.. I know... I never said I WAS warble.. I was only given a slight amount of his power for the match... lol. Seriously not hard to normally parry people like the kid though... you KNOW they are pretty much just attacking. So even in only a 4 bar its not a problem to make them look pretty foolish. I'm used to people quitting on me, callin me names, all sorts of things. And to the basketball comment... the AAU team I was in high school was all black kids except me and a tall asian kid named (here is the deal breaker) JAMAL!! lol. I always thought it was funny and gave him shit for it... BUUUUTTT I digress. I shall pray to warble tonight to get more warble skillz for next time
 
Ahh, the joys of online play. I just stopped responding to the messages I get from people I beat and build up my ignore list.
 
I've played 1000+ online matches against randoms, and I've never gotten hate messages. While I beat most players online and offline (or trade wins), it's actually the tournament players who call me cheap...not the online scrubs!

You guys got it backwards. =(

...We need a thread for telling our online tales. Reading those would be a great time killer.
 
But mails don't include what was said (and done) during the matches... We'd be missing juicy details.
 
yea.. it could be called "tales of souls" or some other depressingly obvious reference to the game! :) And yes it would be a good time killer when you get really bored at 4:00 am and its too early to go to the gym or something and too late for people to be online..lol. I wonder if I'd play better if I didn't always play in the middle of the night while drinking beer and instead played at like 10 am or something...mmmmmmmmmmmmm...but yes... a tales of the shit that goes down thread would be more interesting than the 10000000th "how do I use yoshi...he has so many moves!!" thread being made.
 
I've been told that "blocking is cheap" as well. Though, the funniest, was the time I was told that "side-stepping cervante's 214b is cheap" (he called it something other than 214b, can't remember what now) which was prompted after the noob ringed himself out with it.
 
I was once kicked from a game for trying to throw a guy, which he said he considered a "lowly" tactic. -_-
 
I once got called cheap for using NM. It basically wnet down like this:

I pick Nm, immediately "OMG you cheap scrub" I say ok. I kick his ass 3-0 "AHHH, you wouldn't have won if he didn't have that one unblockable low sweep"

Now, this "unblockable low sweep" was in fact, not 2[K] but, wait for it, 1[A]! He stood there and took the fully charged 1[A] 3 times. I correct him and say it's a guard Breaker, and is indeed blockable. HHe says "It doesn't matter cuz noone will ever be able to block that shit."

At that point I did the merciful thing and kicked him from the room, ensueing a hilarious chain of hate mail, even when I didn't answer to it, I let it keep flowing. After 13 unanswered hate msges He stopped. Oh, apparantly I'm reported to Namco....sweet.
 
Well if you want some decent offline competition sometime there are people in san jose willing to play you gator, theres also a dude named uberleet that was looking for competition in santacruz a while back.
 
I was called cheap for CFing somebody yesterday. Yeah, like I can just start spamming CFs at the start of the round. Dumb.
